Thanks for the video. Would be great to see a trail review. In particular I'm interested in hearing about any vertical compliance. The narrow 24.5mm profile lends itself to some compliance but it ultimately comes down to the layup. Looking forward to seeing more videos.

thanks, got the PRO 36 (pro hubs) on your recommendation last year (thanks for code). love them. little squirelly laterally ( I weigh a lot and am pushing the 275lb max total weight, and, Specialized Ground Control tires, so, could be that),. Wondering if these gnar version will be a little better laterally, look forward to your experience after getting some miles on the gnar. Long time subscriber, first time poster 🙂. Great to hear! They are a bit stiffer laterally, 3.5 vs 2.8 mm offset rims. But wonder if what you're seeing is tire squirm...try a bit higher pressure in the back or install the tire with an insert and see how you like it? Happy trails!

What can you tell us about the Frequency hub on the PR wheels? I currently only have custom built carbon wheels because I like to choose the hubs, rims and spokes. One set has Stan’s Baron CB7 carbon rims with ONYX Classic hubs and the other is for my gravel and is Zipp XPLR 101 carbon rims with Chris King hubs. Going custom is more than double $$ the “complete” price but it’s also either building something yourself or working with a good wheel builder to have a wheel that is built up to fit your needs.

In your NOBL TR32/TR35 video from a year or so ago you went for North American wheels for the warranty and said you were done with Chinese brands (showing several broken rims). Did something change your mind so that you are now comfortable with Elitewheels which I believe is a Chinese brand? The pricing on Elitewheels is excellent and if reliability is similar to NOBL or other big brands would be a great deal.

You're correct, I just came across those broken carbon rims the other day. Truth is that at the time I was going for cheap and light rims, which you could say is a no-no. And I agree, paid the price😊 For ELITE I even have a long term here - kzread.info/dash/bejne/aI2qsa2lZsTIacY.html They've served me well, or very well so far. Same for the NOBL wheels that we still use. As for pricing, wait until the 12th I might have an extra promo on MTB wheels

Really wondering, if in their lineup the 27.5 Pro28 wheelset would be a nice option for my kids bike, that actually has a 2.1kg heavy wheelset from the factory on his full suspension Canyon. He only weighs around 35kg, should be good for some light trails to bring down the total pretty hefty weight of the bike.

How do the EliteWheels Gnar Trail carbon rims compare to the NOBL TR35s you reviewed last year? Any noticeable difference in ride quality or durability? I am looking at buying a new wheelset currently and debating between the NOBL TR37 with either an i9 1/1 hub or a Project 321 hub ($1,060/$1,200 respectively after 20% off), or going with the Gnar Trail PR (~$800 with your discount code). The EliteWheels Gnar Trail PR wheelset is about 100g lighter and 3-4 hundred less, but only has a 3 year warranty vs lifetime for the NOBL wheels.

No bike/parts are perfect. One more is great example ENVE, if its a great product why not more people order them instead of others out there. Simple its not for Everybody
