Part of what makes this so much more intense than normal Russian roulette is that a typical revolver would just blow a hole in your head while this buckshot would blow off a big portion of your head and leave the rest unrecognizable.

It got you this invested too? I don't know what's with this game that makes me so invested when people play it like some kinda sports fan... Tried it myself and the odds were not in my favour for like 70% of it all, I just kept losing the rounds without items to help me. An anecdote I have is that I shot myself on a 50 50 and it turned out to be the best course of action because the guy woulda used his hacksaw.

@@edward9487 so basically he killed god in the game of roulette, and when you die on round 3 you get sent to his purgatory, and if you name yourself god crazy shit happens.

There are technically only 3 ending: the one where you die/lose before the last round (the game doesn't really end, though), the one where you die in the final round, and the one where you win the last round. The afterlife probably looks that way because God likely lost the same game as indicated by the bloody waivee that appears in Round 2 or so - God is dead.

I can't get enough of the animation of our staff breaking the magnifying glass, sticking it into the table, and then quickly checking the shotgun for a cartridge 🤤

At 12:00 the Dealer made a great move - HC + Beer + Beer + HS + shot, which let him regain some control. Really liked it. Also, the 2nd round, where Levas lost, AI just gained control from the start, bc AI had very good strategies, only once shot himself, but had a lot of healing stuff, which didn't leave any chance for the player. And player shot himself much more than AI) Also, the music when you're left with 2 HP, plays in an agressive type, so that it shows the tensity of the situation) Have to correct myself, music plays aggressively whenever you're being defibrillated)

Some tactics just line up the whole situation, so that you hold on till the last shot. But, the most useless item, as I think, is MG, because, in most cases, you're able to guess the round

I feel like instead of Live Rounds and Blanks, it should be Dead Rounds (just a shell with no powder or primer) and Blanks, because a blank can still deal some damage when used at close ranges. While you likely wouldn't be able to be resuscitated a Live Round (unless it was Birdshot maybe). Then, in the final round, instead of blanks, the Dealer uses Live Rounds instead

To all of the replies: I am aware of the discrepancies in what I said. My two-cents was simply what I thought would make the game a bit more immersive, and make more sense as well. (Since, as you guys said, the 'Blanks' in this game are just empty shells, but blanks still go boom. Plus, I don't think you'd just be resuscitated after unloading a live round of buckshot into your mouth. Or at least I assume it's buckshot as the name of the game is Buckshot Roulette)

Fun little game. Here's some trivia (Gun nerd alert): When they "saw off" the end, they saw the magazine tube as well, which would cause the spring to shoot out and, if the shells didn't fall out of the magazine first, would fail to feed when pumping the action since it's spring tension that pushes shells from the tube onto the loading ramp. Sawing the barrel would also make a shotgun do _less_ damage, since less barrel means less time for propellant gases to build pressure behind the shot/slug leading to reduced velocity. Interestingly, the shotgun is depicted as having an ejection port on both sides of the receiver, which wouldn't be the case on a real shotgun. The shotgun seems to be based on the Remington 870, and appears to have wood furniture? Mine is black synthetic. A real 870, with no magazine extension, wouldn't be able to hold 8 standard 2 3/4" shells in the magazine; it could at most hold 6 in the tube +1 in the chamber. Erroneously, dummy rounds are called "blanks" here, despite being inert (real blanks go bang and can still kill you especially at that range)-Russian Roulette with a semi-auto handgun or rifle would work the same way this game does it with a shotgun; by randomly interspersing dummy rounds. Would be a good basis for sequels

I wonder if there's achievements in this game Because those would be great: One for knowing that there'a a live round and still aiming at yourself, and another one for aiming at yourself with sawed off, and maybe another one for a combination of both. I love the atmosphere in this game. This morbid game of roulette taking place in the back room at this club with the music playing in the background all faded. The graphics and sound design create a very unsettling and dingy experience I love it.

Huh, I just noticed on the third round, when it’s pointed towards yourself the player shivers, but not on the first and second rounds

For this being my second time watching someone play.this, I LOVE IT (despite the Erie ascetic and the monster looking so god awfully scary)

I enjoyed this video. One of the key factors of enjoyment was watching Levas shoot the dealer, then in the middle of the shot, playing an ad. Like one of those cutoff memes.

i feel like the good ending isn't actually good. i believe you play as someone who has a gambling addiction so bad, they are willing to risk everything, including their own life. in the "good" ending, you go home with loads of cash. but what is the point? you will most likely gamble it away in days time. in the other ending, however, you ascend into heaven, leaving behind the stains of the world. i feel like this is symbolized by the spikes sticking out of the ground, and yet you float ABOVE them, leaving them behind. you are free of the life you were living, free of your sins.

In rating of horror, the only thing i'd say is terrifying is the graphics and the face of the dealer. The only thing that might count as a jumpscare are the gunshots. I'd say this game is just uncanny

plot twist:the mc dont die he just get vored by the dealer(his mouth is pitch white as storm's say the spikes are his teeths) and the mc actually die from getting digested by the dealer.

He wasted a magnifying glass to check the barrel literally right after all the duds were ejected. Thats not a genius play right there dude

This game feels like a jigsaw trap game instead your playing an actual game with the jigsaw itself I can already imagine the character in this game is the creeping smile haveing the jigsaw voice into him

@@Bos_Meong Puzzle game because you have a task - survive. And you have items in front of you. You have to think on your next move and probability to win. You have all the time in the world to plan your stuff, this is why it is more of a puzzle game

I’ve played through the game 5 times and never knew the defib thing happened in the 2nd round or that there was a bad ending (because the game is too easy to lose)

This game has the same art style as lethal company
