I think that's the point. The parasites just sweet talked Lucy's ego into thinking she's the hero; while the protagonist, being an skeptical asshole, could not be fooled by the words of the parasite. The parasites want men like him dead, not cause of mortality, but because they will not bow down.

Well in her mind Cynte wanted to release the Parasites once he learned to controll them or at least share controll. In her mind she would prefer a Symbiothic end for the parasites where they both live together hapilly since its obviously a smart lifeform. Then the Parasite took controll and messed her mind. Its not like originally she was wrong Cynte IS akin to a typical super villain. But the Parasites took advantage of her and corrupted her mind due to their controll Its less Symbiothic where both share controll like she could claim "choose her" etc... its definitly just the Parasite controlling her every thought and just keeping whats left of her mind as a puppet on steroids

Ending hits a lot harder when you have almost no HP by the end of it. It's pretty clear that he's screwed either way, but when you're a single bleed tick away from dying it really drives home just how hopeless the situation is for the main character.

The funniest thing about the main character is that he’s literally just a scientist but for some reason he is a fucking tank and one of the most badass protagonist ever if you think about it. If he had all his limbs he’d be a force of nature.

There is scrapped dialogue from Quake 3 of Doomguy where he had a surprisingly soothing voice. Almost similar to Caleb from Blood.

You know it's kinda weird seeing people go this guy is a legend, given the context of who he is. He accidentally murdered the wrong coworker.

Dude. The last level was so difficult with the rats. But I found a method. Shoot the…idk predators life support system? Make it a bit low health with the double barrel and then shoot it with a flare. It will damage it nicely. Yes, you’re hundred percent gonna need flares for the last battle. Also, just take the damage. Get hit by the walls, it won’t do much damage. And it won’t spawn enemies when it hits you cuz it spawns creatures when it gets hit. I’m talking about the weird hairy spores of course.

I did it with basically only shotgun. The key is to just not pop the "sleeping zombies" (Or whatever the heck these are) so that rats don't spawn. 10 shells is more than enough to kill all 4 blobs. Kept the flare for later :). Btw, never flare in a group of sleeping zombies in this boss fight, you will kill like 5+ and get a whole bunch of rodents biting your ass.

@@artandem9637 that’s hard when it blocks you at times, and the predator will pop them for you in a straight line if you aren’t careful. I think if it just spawns on you, it will pop but not spawn any enemies. The flare will…I guess be a last resort option. Since I was being surrounded. And the flare does clear them out. But does pop enemies. I think the best way is to just keep moving, maybe get hit a bit by the spores wall since it won’t spawn any if it hits you. And even if you don’t pop em like I said previously, the predator will do that for you if you panic a bit too much which I do a lot. The shotgun is really good, if you know what you’re doing quickly. Unless you panic like I did, it’s not gonna be fun. I just damaged the life support system and then shot it with a flare, ran away and let fire do the damage. Like I said, maybe I just get myself stuck a lot or I just panic too easily. But the method kinda saved my life, it worked again as well for me lol

the spores also give ammo so if you need to, you can use a flare to clear large areas of them then ready a revolver/shotgun for the enemies that spawn

Kinda weird how the Woman didnt look at him and said "How TF you still survived?" Or after the final boss She grab a gun to finished him right there? Didnt she watch movies to learn that leaving your enemy alived is a BIG mistake?

Given that the guy's infected with the parasite, he's probably as good as dead so unless he managing to make a permanent vaccine with the time he has, he's just another mutate on that station.

I like how while you are waiting for the dialogue at the final boss to end you are fiddling with you're arm and at one part you just wave it like you're in a party

Yes, the voice of the main character, left alone, is unique, but how can we not pay attention to the fact that the voice of a panicked person is played with great skill? I liked it.

He is such a legend he did all of this with only ONE ARM and at the same time was searching for a vacine for the alien inside him

After a few hours of playing, I found probably all the secrets, so I decided to try a ‘No Damage’ challenge, where if I took damage by any monster, I reset to the last checkpoint Tip for anyone who hasn’t played this yet: *DO NOT ATTEMPT* the aforementioned ’No Damage’ challenge on your first play through It’s harder to complete than Fnaf 1’s 4/20 mode while on 3 hours of sleep

Idea for the sequel, the parasite in his body finally starts regenerating his limbs, first he regains his left arm, and as the game progresses, he gains his legs, becoming a powerhouse, however he starts losing his mind and mutates into a monster because of the parasite

I can't stop laughing when he scratches his back during cutscenes.

Its been such a blast seeing this game evolve froma short indie demo to a full fleged game!

Most of the bosses are just levels that require stealth or have lots of enemies

This guy is too strong,he can move with one arm by an incredible power,even with so many tools on his back(the guns are really heavy btw) and his calm,strong will to survive allow him to live.I bet hes still finding a way to get out of this planet and goin kill streak on these unlucky monsters This guy is strong just like Doom guy but with one arm version lol,the monsters should fear him

A monster not being able to see but has sensitive hearing is so unoriginal but is terrifying every time

Props to the monsters at the start for making the game fair. This man would've been unstoppable with all his limbs.

I really like the way they made the reloading mechanic. Instead of just pressing r to refill all if it, you have to amiably find bullets, remove empty ones and replace them with unused ones.

This is the guy that Doomslayer trains with at the gym, along with Guts.

Imagine moving with one arm, healing with one arm, pick-locking with one arm, shooting with ONE arm, reloading with ONE arm, did everything with ONE ARM. Idk if I should fear these parasite or this dude in this case.

Brad Armstrong: i lost both arms and I'm still immensely powerful. Cynte: i went through an entire lab full of monsters and a deadly parasite inside me with ONE ARM. Brad: i toss bottles at my enemies and digest food before they can attack me. Cynte: i reload shotguns and crossbows while horrific creatures chase me. Brad: I GOT SHOT WITH GUNS AND ARROWS IN THE HEAD. Cynte: I LOST 20 GALLONS OF BLOOD AND KEPT GOING.
