I bought four of them at Walmart on clearance for $19.99 a piece. I really like this knife, the way it feels in the hand and the natural slicing motion. I bought it because I knew it was a good knife because it was a book, but I was amazed at how much I like holding this knife and carrying it. It's a great knife because of the weight, balance, and it is sharp. If you get a chance to buy one I highly recommend it.

I bought the 11 inch Ozark Trail version of this knife at Wal Mart last week. I didn't know Buck already had its own version, i would a bought the Buck instead. Guess it's back to Wal Mart lol

My Wallyworld has them as well. Keep an eye out for the 20 dollar SOG karambits. They seem decent for the money.

This knife is awesome. I bought one about three months ago, put it through hell and it came through with flying colors...I love this knife, so much so that I went and bought two more.

They are still available for $30 on Buck website. Got mine in the mail today 👍

I've always been a fan of buck knifes. i might just get this one. i need a new kinfe. i just snapped the tip off on my sog folder. thanks for sharing Matt.

Buck does the 420HC good, i have been testing the Condor Primitive in 420HC around the coast.

I just bought one the other day at the same price at Wal-Mart. seems like a good from what I can tell.

nice one! I must say (if it ain't broke don't fix it) but,, that style of knife with those purdy handles deserve an awesome leather sheath

The "black traction coating" makes the blade a little rough to the touch...I figured that it would not do very well batoning wood and such...so I took some steel wool to the blade and polished it up just enough to take the "rough" texture off of it, made it smooth without taking off any of the coating...and it worked out awesome. Something people might try if they feel the same way about it. I didn't like the rough texture, and the steel wool polishing made the knife perfect in my opinion. But I have also seen people completely remove the blade coating and put some gun blue on the blade and polish it up...I've seen some really nice looking knives transformed into totally awesome and beautiful blades with this process. Check out some of the videos by "PREPAREDMIND101", he's done this process to many coated knives, and they turn out so awesome. I have two of the Reapers, and been thinking about doing it to one of them just to see how it turns out.

+Weapons Machinist No...I had it for only about an hour before I recorded this.

First saw it in NRA store (stamped logo) probably walnut handle , around $80 but they stopped selling it there. Walmart $39 and with same rosewood handle. Have batoned some, shaved some, slashed some, cut some (all wood) like my finger (scary sharp) and eventually may make another sheath but the one it comes with is doable. Great feel as handle design is similar to the Black Bird (Ontario Knife Co.) Kukri design. All in all can't go wrong, BUCK....

As far as I'm concerned the handle is poorly made it almost seems to be made of plastic
