Run BTS 126 & 127 777 is so funny

The compilations can be really chaotic but still funny😂. Kookietaetas is great for timely compilations using the most recent content (at the time) from the guys so some may be confusing without context but bc of her editing, I feel there are many compilations that are really fun even with context (sometimes bc of the lack of context lol). Then there’s Sugarmyy who uses content depending on the theme of the video- what I like most about sugArmyys videos is in the top-left corner she gives some context for her clips (probably bc they come from a wide range of sources instead of the most recent). The thing with Hobi, Jimin, Jin,and the pizza it wasn’t so much an elder power move, it was them deciding to annoy each other😅. There were multiple types of pizzas in the middle for everyone to share, Hobi asked Jimin to give him a slice since he was in front of it, Jimin refused bc he wanted to be annoying so Hobi grabbed the pizza himself, some meat fell off hobi’s pizza so he asked Jimin to put it back, Jin decided to eat it instead, then Jimin straight up took some meat from Hobi’s slice, and Hobi said they were going too far lol (don’t mess with the man’s pizza😂).

9:33 This episode of playing ping pong with the rule of no english was when I realized how much english is part of BTS’ everyday language, despite people thinking they only know/speak korean lol. It’s so funny haha. They’re used to it lol

the run bts episodes where they were arguing abt photos were ep 118 and ep 119, my favorite episodes ever personally. basically they had to collect sticky notes with tasks for pics like for example ''take a photo in front of a window'', ''take a photo with two taller members'', combine them however they like and take pictures accordingly. at the end they presented all their pics with the sticky notes and received points for each sticky note, however if even one task from a sticky note assigned to a pic was not completed, the picture would automatically get 0 points. that's why they were nitpicking each other's shit lmao

Context on the photo game. In this game everyone had a secret selfie challenge, for example if their challenge was "take a picture with Jk" then they would have to do it, but without the other members realizing what their challenge was (if they did, they would loose points). Jin in this game was also a spy, and his challenge was "photobomb the other members photos" if he did then said members would also loose points. That explains why Jk was so frustrated when all of his photos were photobombed by Jin, adding that he is also the most competitive member and hates losing.

Run BTS is pure BTS betraying each other 😂😭 I watch random run bts episodes whenever I need a laugh 😂

1st and 4th clip (water): that was a debate, they (staff) usually have forbidden words or actions which the members don't know about. In this case, if they said or did X they got splashed. Sometimes they found out, said it out loud and stopped doing it altogether. Some other times a brat arises xD 2nd and 5th clip (photos): they had to find random post-it notes with instructions for photos and they had to combine them (the more, the merrier... I mean, more points). Example: solo, 3 more members, standing up, sitting around a table, sitting on the floor, playing darts xD, shaking hands... Some tried to combine 6-7 at a time and the result is hilarious (and the final part of the game is one for the books, I won't say no more, my lips are sealed) 6th clip (English words): they were trying to play table tennis or ping pong X_D but it never shows since it was focused on the teams snitching the other ones using English. The word "serve" ends in a consonant sound, Korean (as well as many Asian languages) can't allow that, so he said something like "seebu" (I know you area acquainted with JP, it works similarly but they don't use the same placeholder vowels) 7th clip (fairy tales names): Well, it was a longer one (they had to create tales from scratch), but this was the warm up and they had to prove their fairytale knowledge. The question was "name 3 tales with wolves in it". Fun part: Jin said Twilight (yes, the movie/book xD) and twilight twitter account changed their bio to something like "the official account for the tale involving wolves". You are getting soooome spoilers by the way ^^U

They have several Run BTS episodes where they play mafia T_T like a lot, those are usually the favorite ones. Also in the ones where they don't play mafia, there is one spy (assigned secretly by the staff OR they all know someone is a spy) OR they just snitch because it's in their blood xD

There's a lot of english vocabulary implemented in the Korean language. It's called 'konglish', they basically use certain English words but they're pronounced korean and can be written in hangul (korean alphabet). Thats why 'serve' sounded unfamiliar to you when you heard it. We do the same in germany, where it's called "denglisch". Sometimes even the original meaning of an English word can be slightly adjusted to mean sth else in german.

Run BTS episodes 87 & 88 have one the best "Can't believe you betrayed me for a game" moments. The whole thing is pure chaos but the ending, cherry on top.

It's harder than you may think it should be, for them to not use English words. The way they pronounce it may not sound like English to a non Korean speaker, but there's also a bunch of words that there isn't really a Korean equivalent to, in addition to the ones they're used to saying in English, like ok or let's go etc. I believe it's called konglish when they use English words, but in the Korean accent. It's funny, there's a video that's called something like "red velvet not understanding Wendy's English for 10 mins" (something like that). When she uses English words without using konglish, her members cannot understand her, and like, the difference is pretty minimal, I can usually pick out when it's used, but it's super funny watching red velvet be clueless until she said the words with the accent. It's super cute. I love that you check out these kinds of videos too, but I get that it's confusing without the context of without at least knowing the rules to the various games 😂 💜

If you are going to watch the photo episode I won't explain it. That episode is hilarious and so chaotic..haha the spy episode and the chaotic episodes are my favorites. You will enjoy it. You also don't realize how much the use English words til they can't say them...haha

He said "servu" LOL I think there is a lot of english words on the coloquial korean language due to the countrys that colonize them but they pronunce it in a very unique way. It's so funny to me because I am also not an native english speaker. You shpuld definitly watch some RUN BTS episodes if you think you may like it.

I think it’s a good balance but I wish I knew the context at all times to really get the deeper subtle jokes.

As good as the music and dancing are, this is why I became a fan. In the midst of the COVID lockdown, I would get out my laptop, put on my head phones and watch Run BTS and the In the Soop and the travel videos,,, and just laugh my head off. These guys are funny as all get out, without even trying, and they're funnier WITH each other.
