Jimin is really multifaceted and just really hard to explain. Much like Tae said, he's just a surprising guy, you never really know what you’re gonna get with him. Jimin once said he's a firm believer in _the clothes make the man_ , so the way he acts on a specific day could be a reflection of how he feels in his clothing that day. Like if he's wearing a suit he'd carry himself a certain way, opposed to how he'd act in an oversized hoodie. Rapper Jimin was just him channeling that energy I guess 🤌🏼💜

Suga also made his voice deeper than usual. Jimin got to diss his haters by his raplines.

Not too surprising. They were originally a hip hop group and Jimin was known to sing in his lower register back in the day. And the vocal line LOVE getting the chance to do a bit of rap. I always love growly Jimin.

Jimin is actually really good at rapping when he tries lol. He's just not really super interested in so he laughs it off in ot7 performances cause he gets embarrassed 🤣 Literally the same way he always gets embarrassed and goofs around on acting skits on Run BTS but is incredible at expressing emotions on stage and did the best when they worked with a professional voice actor

Suga proud of Jiminssi. Suga always appreciated and motivated Jimin when Jimin felt insecured.

Ugh yes this is such a gem!!! This song was released on Yoongi's first mixtape, AgustD. It was so cool to see Jimin join him on the live performance during one of BTS's concerts. Jimin's and Yoongi's voices are seemingly opposite, but they go so well together, and I'm glad we got to see this different side to Jimin!

I swear they teased him too much after it. I know it was not in a mean spirit but that was the time his self-esteem was at it's lowest and I think he internalized it a bit too much. You can clearly see it every time they bring it up and he gets very shy and in the end chooses to make it a joke. Jimin has GREAT potential to do melodic and growly rap his tone works great. His parts in Paradise are practically rap too. I hope Yoongi will eventually corner him and make a full length song as he keeps saying he would. Also just so you know Yoongi wanted to give Jimin his song People but producers decided against it and it ended up on D2 if you eventually get to it imagine how cool it could have been as a duet!

jimin's rapping always reminds me of g-dragon, because gd also has a higher pitch to his rap. and it's not surprising that they sound a little like one another because bts looks up to bigbang a lot as one of the first kpop groups who also had nothing and became kings. also, there are quite a few moments where jimin even looks like gd and i die a little more each time XD and speaking of bigbang, first comeback since 2018, on april 5th!!!!

The original version of the song is featured on Agust D's first mixtape, and includes a verse ft. Yankie. This performance is from 3rd Muster in 2017. The guys love to do something extra for them, such as special unit performances or never before performed songs. Suga has previously talked about wanting to do something with Jimin and thus this Tony Montana live performance was born. What's extra special is that Jimin's verse is different from the original in the mixtape. Jimin wrote the lyrics with some help from RM. In the behinds of the 3rd Muster DVD we get to see some of the shocked reactions of the other members as Jimin goes up on stage and begins his verse. 😆
