it was originally a full korean song and when LAUV attended a concert where they performed this song he liked it so much and offered to do a collab version and that is the reason the video seems like a live performance .

BTS have worked non stop since debut and they've discussed only having a day and a half off every 3 or 4 months.

after reading their autobiography book, especially about 2018, how they were running non stop without any rest, day after day to the point they really thought they can't do it anymore and it's time to disband... after that, hearing this song that was released in 2019 is both hurting and healing "yeah i almost lost you. but i can't forget you. cause you were the reason that i survived. you were there for me though all the times i cried. i was there for you but then i lost my mind. i know that i messed up but i promise i can make it right" so happy 2019 treated them better. it was a nice year

guys I'm not saying the events and the song are 100% connected, I'm just emotional 😭

Their concerts are about 2hr30-45min usually. They are touring the newest album mostly. Their second last tour Love Myself had three albums worth of music they could do. Most of the music will come from whatever the newest album is but in the middle they do a medley of like 4-5 songs which are usually from older albums but super popular and hype songs like fire, run etc.

yeah, they have crazy schedule, 2 3 albums a year is impressive but so exhausting, and in 2022 they talked about it, how the pace this industry forces artists to maintain doesn't allow them to live, experience things and mature in order to then have things to say in your music. "i wanna be a human before i do some art"

This is the version with the singer LAUV featuring. I much prefer the Korean version with all the members contributing. Pleas react again!

This is the collaboration versión with Lauv. You must find the Korean original versión when you can hear all the seven members voices better.

The beginning was all eng cuz lauv sings that part. There is an og ver of the song with the korean lyrics (it has the mv without the animation and in portrait mode). Even tho this ver is good, i prefer the ver with just the 7 of them. Also abt the frequency of albums, there were years when they put out 3 albums in a single year. Not counting the other releases like their solo projects and mixtapes. They just worked on and on. They took only 2 official breaks in all of the 10 years that they remained active as a grp.

So many don't realize that the "vertical version" is actually the original recording without Lauv and the animation. It's got more behind the scenes LY:SY tour footage also. It IS BigHit official MV.

KPOP group promotion is different than the US. They don't release singles like the US. A full album release, then the group will appear at various COMEBACK STAGES to promote their album. The bigger group will announce concerts or world tours afterward the promotion.

They usually play around 2-2,5 h concerts Set list is about last album, they tour with album like when Wings comeviut tour were calked Wings, when Love Yourself come tourveete called that, etc, when there is tour they play song from last album. And in between there is medlay with older songs and the same at end they play like 2 hit songs. And in this video there was clip that showed "Army time" this is part if concers that they walk around hsve fun with army etc, and Make it right was part of this block, so they didn't dance there but simply "conect with fans" They last concert, was godbay concert so there were songs from all their eras, songs that were nostalgic, popular, fans favorite and band favorite. (Bc we call them era like: Wings era, LY era, MOTS era, HYYH era.... Etc.)

This song on Stephen Colbert got me into BTS when Tae started off singing the song I said who is this guy.

The original recording can be heard/seen on the "vertical version", official MV from BigHit.(I hope you will react to that) It doesn't have Lauv or the animation. V was a big fan of Lauv, so when Lauv offered a collab. version of this song, V sacrificed his beginning verse so Lauv would have space in the song. Ed Sheeran gifted this song to them "like Santa"(-RM), by email.(I think it was the music, not lyrics, but I'm not positive) Edit: Your understanding of their performances (award shows vs. concerts, etc), album releases, touring, and work ethic/standards is more than a bit skewed. I recommend reading the new book that came out in July, this year, Beyond The Story, but you can also do things like Google the release dates of their discography (includes albums, mini albums, singles, mixtapes maybe), watch videos of their full concerts to see setlists and performance levels (in between sets they have storyline type videos and speaking"ments", so the actual concert lasts 2.5-3 hours). Award performance time is (loosely) given to how many awards they are nominated/receiving. Those 45 minute award show performances are because they were so dominating the awards. When they were less successful they had less time, and even had a performance only on the red carpet(not the show itself) or shared stage time with other groups. BTS doesn't do "music festivals", so JHope, as a solo artist, HEADLINING & SOLD OUT his day at Lollapalooza 2022 was a HUGE deal. You can see that entire performance (& Google info on the viewing records broken) online, AKA "Hobipalooza". He performed his album Jack In The Box, music from his mixtape HopeWorld, and some of his BTS solo songs.
