This new performance horses and whatever on stage made no sense, there was so much going on you forgot the message of the intended song. Total overkill of a good song. In trying to revamp old performances that were extremely entertaining and good. Whomever is trying to outdo and recapture the past performances in their favor needs to *Stop* start introducing new songs and dance videos. I know you could because so many of BTS’s excellent songs has already been recorded before all were off to the military.

You guys are going to see so many videos that have been allowed to update and edit with the majority of videos being posted to favor Jung-kook and the people he want profiled which is all the BTS members except Jimin, they couldn’t eliminate Jimin’s parts completely what you are going to see most often front and center is Jung-kook and Tae-hyung. The updating of the videos is to minimize Jimin’s once leading position because of JK’s jealousy he wants to be the lead performer by updating and editing the videos, In my opinion should be illegal what a coward thing to do because you and Jimin are no longer friends.

If you’re not a native Korean speaker (like myself) sometimes their subtext gets lost in the translation. But what other people have said here is true. Namjoon (RM) particularly uses word play/double meaning in his lyrics. In order to better understand what they were trying to say, I recommend watching BTS’s first speech at the United Nations. Namjoon (RM) talks about embracing ALL the parts of yourself, even the ones you may find “ugly.” This was a big part of their “Love Yourself” Tour. I’m in my 60’s and found BTS later in life. I like their messages of positivity and embracing ALL parts of ourselves! I also like that they’re MORE than just a “boy band” that I would have pursued in my teenage years. They also remain humble while trying to be altruistic and encourage Army to do the same. There is a reason their name translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts” Although they may still be young, they’ve been through ALOT and understand about struggles. May I suggest watching “The Story Of BTS” to better understand how/why their lyrics and songs are so amazing! Borahae!

Have you done Airplane 2 yet. ( I think you will really like its Latin vibe. If you have done it. Maybe watch it again. Live or something, Music is always better the 2nd time around. OR watched Film out ? ANYWAY I watched a J-drama the other day It was cute. This girl could hear peoples thoughts since a car accident. And she meets a Korean boy who is doing Deliveries. But since his thoughts were in Korean, she couldn't understand.him. He spoke in Japanese and was there for some kind of research and did deliveries part-time.( They also only had subtitles for Japanese and I was getting the same dumb looks on my face because I also couldn't understand his thoughts. It was a good, cute light hearted show. I must say that the Japanese and Koreans put our Doordash or whoever to shame. They are faster and even come back and get the bowls in Japan Anyway, I also watched a Christmas J-drama ( couldn't find a K-drama one which is weird since I see a Christmas tree in almost every show and they are about 80% ]Christians ( 2019 stats) But I noticed that everything is more " CUTE " in Japan. For TV shows. Boys are more polite and stuff. Also I noticed in Korea every year is a little more westernized ( for a better lack of word) SO MY Point.... Since this is an older song and 1st song for Japan (they are Hugh there now) I think it was on the safer side. Hope you watch Airplane @ They also did a song in Japanese called " Stay Gold" during the pandemic.

Curious of where you guys dug up this video, love them always of course and Jungkooks voice is always heaven. I don’t think they were feeling the song too much or were a bit tired and it hasn’t circulated much to my knowledge as army but just my opinion. Love that you really get into the meanings, good review.
Why would you think they weren’t “feeling it”. They performed as they always do, top notch. Please don’t pass on rumors and speculations. They live to perform. Even if they were “tired”, they wouldn’t let us know. I love this video and the MV is my favorite of all of their MV’s.

The vibe of this song is like their song "Butterfly". 😉 You have mentioned that this was "ages" ago, so, it reflected how they thought and felt diring those times..(most of them were in their teens). May 2024 In case nobody's said, RM and Suga were well-known underground rappers, JHope learned from them. Jimin and JK could rap/sing/dance. Jin has a beautiful voice, they just didn't know it yet. BTS started out as a hip-hop group and morphed into a rap/vocal group. They have every kind of musical genre..they can do anything. The saying goes, "If you don't like a particular song, keep listening, your bound to find something that inspires you." They have over 300 songs as a group, and aprox 100 as solo arists. ..you better get busy! 😅
