@@anniedeedrix6732 Hi there! I am an amateur and not a professional, but I will tell you what I felt! First of all, the Japanese they use is very delicate. They use very poetic and deep words that bring to mind a scene. And you can tell that all of them have practiced their pronunciation very hard. They are very good and beautiful. In fact, Japanese has several pronunciations that are not found in Korean. Most Koreans are not very good at these pronunciations, and if they are not mastered they sound like cute little baby words. Jin, JK, and Jimin are very good at it. Jin, in particular, sounds very Japanese, probably because the way he sounds is similar to the way Japanese people vocalize and accentuate their voices. Every note is clearly audible. The other members are characterized by singing with a little more breathy. It's like that. Especially in the rap line, there are many words and the tempo ,so I feel that they have a hard time pronouncing the words clearly in Japanese. （RM sounds more like Japanese when they are having a normal conversation than when singing.） I appreciate that they sing in Japanese despite these difficulties, and their efforts are beyond imagination.

I first heard this song as I was riding in the passenger seat of my father's funeral hearst, on the way to his cremation ceremony. I was sending his physical body away for the final time, and the song brought me to tears. It was so painful to hear it that after that, I couldn't bring myself to listen to the song again for almost 2 years without crying and being reminded of that moment and the memories of my Dad. My father passed away from liver cancer, and I had been his main caregiver during the last few months of his life. I had to be so strong after he passed, 'cos someone had to deal with funeral arrangements and tying up all those loose ends, and I'm the eldest child, so it was my responsibility to see this through. I hadn't shed a tear, until the moment I first heard this song. It finally opened those floodgates. I wish I could say I healed quickly after that, but it took me almost 2 years to heal. This song was that essential first step for me.

Loooove Jin's voice on all of their Japanese tracks. The language really seems to suit him. He always sounds amazing, but he's extra angelic on their Japanese tracks.

i cried for the first time too when i listened to it. i found it on my jimin dancing spree journey. i was obsessed with his dancing at the beginning, and this song compared with his movements was just so beautiful that i cried. he always feels the song when he dance he is just captivating. but the while dance together was just magical it like they moved as one

You should watch the stage-mix version of this song. The choreography is spectacular and greatly augments the song's emotional impact.

BTS has away of writing what ARMY feels. For me it was Whalien 52. Crying so much, I couldn't get myself up off the floor, because someone was telling my story. The line, "Because even if I cry, no one would know." No one can see me cry, standing right next to me. I have always felt like my voice was not heard. It sometimes feels like that still, but since BTS sang this song, it has gotten a lot better. They have never heard my voice, but they did hear my heart. This is the same with 2! 3!. I don't know if you both heard these two songs before, but they are ones not to miss.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I absolutely love all of their Japanese songs but specially Don't Leave Me. All of them sound like soundtracks (and some of them are part of soundtracks)...but Don't Leave Me just hits different! I hope you will react to it as well.

In Japanese songs, Vocal line take centre stage and reign but especially Tae and Jin shine so so brightly… there are certain songs that one member seems to encapsulate it and own it and while I would say in Crystal Snow it’s Jin mainly… in Let Go it’s defo Tae… when you watch the performances you will especially know what I mean… Not only does he take centre in the choreography, his melancholic beauty just enthrals and captivates… his vocals are also especially poignant and filled with an aching vulnerability. one of those songs that gets you deep inside... I'm ready to let go... whenever you get to the point of letting things (or a person) that you hold onto tightly go... that moment brings healing and freedom. It takes a lot of emotional giving to get to this point but when you do, you are at peace.

This song was written by Jin at a time when BTS was going through a crisis and was considering leaving the band. If you take that into account, the words of the song take on a very deep meaning

Especially with the lyric “From stereo to mono” since stereo is many speakers singing together and mono is one speaker singing alone. As long as you are doing the Japanese songs you should also react to Your Eyes Tell and Don’t Leave Me. If you do Crystal Snow and Let Go without Your Eyes Tell and Don’t Leave Me you are only getting half the picture. Those 4 Japanese songs are inseparable in my mind.

Yes, I think this is true. And I believe it was JK who initially felt he had to take a break from the group. That's why he seemed the most affected during their emotional acceptance speech at MAMA 2018. And if you notice, at the very end of their live performancce of Let Go, all the members walk to the right except for JK, who walks to the opposite direction. That has to mean something!

Not being mean or nything but, this song was not written by them and it truly has no connection to the time. Like you said Outro Tear is the only song they have expressed that was written about that time period. It was a rumor started on Twitter as a presumption because of the timing. I love this song. It's one of my favorite Japanese songs along with "Film Out" and "Your Eyes Tell". The song "Let Go" is even sadder considering it was written around the time they were about to break up. Accordingly, some fans interpret it as a farewell song. 17:40 I interpreted the stereo and mono line differently than explained on Genius. Stereo and mono is an audio engineering term that describes the number of audio channels that is used for playback devices (stereo = two, mono = one). So when singing “from stereo to mono“ it could refer to a breakup, i.e. two people in a relationship are left alone after the breakup. The biggest disadvantage of the single-channel technology mono is that no surround sound can be created. The recordings therefore sound extremely flat. In this way, the description of stereo and mono could also be extended to include feelings of being together or being alone. Mono sounds more boring, while stereo sounds more detailed and lifelike, meaning you feel more complete with someone.

That's incorrect about stereo and mono. Mono is using only one channel for sound and stereo is using multiple channels. Stereo is what allows sound to move from one ear and into the other in your headphones. So, going from stereo to mono is going from many down to one. And, in the choreo, at the very end, JK walks away from the rest of the members. I think that I saw Suga, in the Break the Silence movie, not the series, say something about JK wanting to leave the group in early 2018, when they discussed breaking up. Suga was saying how glad he was that JK decided to stay with them. Keeping that in mind, the line about stereo to mono and that last part of the choreo makes a lot of sense. It also makes the song a hell of a lot sadder, for me. Outro: Tear shows how badly the talk about breaking up hurt them, but this song is about accepting the decision to break up and letting him go. Even if I'm wrong about where I heard Suga say that, the lyrics and choreo still support that idea.
