Finally someone who understands the real meaning of the MV

Jungkook - taekwondo athlete Taehyung - farmer Jimin - rice cake shop owner Jin - hotelier Suga - pianist RM - detective J-Hope - veterinarian those are their lives in a parallel universe where they aren't BTS. in the game BTS World, there's the "BTS Story" where you act as their manager and gather them together to debut, then there's also "Another Story," their parallel universe where they don't know each other and live separate lives but they still seemed like they were destined to meet. basically, the meaning of the MV is "In every lifetime, i will find you again like it's destiny."💜✨ I'm not really sure if this is correct, but it was my personal interpretation of it.☺

RM is actually a detective. it says so in the BTS World official twitter account and indicated in the MV (e.g. the police lines and RM running around as if searching for something that could be clues). maybe he's a mystery novelist for now, but turns out to be a detective as the story progresses.

My hope, my angel oh?? i guess that can be true but based on the chapters that i played, namjoon is a novelist who's currently writing a mystery novel. i haven't gone that far yet tho because my rm cards just sucks lol

It is - and it references another few songs as well. The video itself talks not only about what their lives would be without BTS or having Army / it is also showing that they believe in fate. It was fate that brought these 7 young men to meet / become BTS which then led them to Army.

It's actually one of my favorite BTS songs of all time. The lyrics just hit home for me, but it's not like it makes me sadder. It makes me feel more hopeful. :)

First, V could've been a farmer, JK could've been an athlete and could've went to University, Jimin could've been making rice cakes and mochi, Namjoon could've been an inspector/investigator or an officer, Jin could've been a regular employee or a hotel manager, JHope a vet and Yoongi could've been a piano prodigy. Second, it's like if they were not BTS, and they had normal/ordinary lives instead, they wouldn't be as happy as they are now, they wouldn't have been matured and changed this much, deep inside they would still have that feeling of "there could be something more" that's why, JK and Jimin was still dancing even as a hobby, SUGA is walking around outside despite being a reclusive and a home-body, and why JHope, Jin and RM(the flying whale is referenced here... It refers to their song Whalien, you'll know how it connects when you read the lyrucs to Whalien 😜) they seem like they feel so frustrated even when they have stable and respectable jobs. Third, it's like they are saying even if they weren't BTS their fates are pre-destined (That's why Suga "accidentally" met and bumped Namjoon and JK ended up learning and doing street dance from Jimin)... That no matter what, they would still end up meeting us in their universe, they will still become BTS and we would still be their ARMY. Fourth, no matter how many times I watch this it still makes me cry 😭😭😭😭 crybaby or not I don't even care anymore I'll always be OT7 all the way.

Namjoon part is like us "army" he's the only one who know what happened and he looking for the rest of the members to make them remember that they are BTS and bring them together 😭😭💜

The whale probably referencing to being lonely like what their song WHALIEN 52 was about. I love that song. You should check it out. I hope it can make you feel better. And i think the story in the mv is the alternate universe of bts in the game.

Its quite amazing how you can transmit your emotions through a freaking video. The meanings behind this video are many. In my opinion I think it means, as you said, what BTS would be doing if the band didn't exist. Plus, it also shows, specially in Yoongi's scene, how everyone wouldn't be actually happy with their lives and we can agree that Army's made their lives better and vice versa. PD: RM is an investigator/ detective, I think.

When you're sad and you heard this, I got sadder in a good way. When someone's comforting :'(

I cried so much over the lyrics... it resonated and hit me deeply on a personal level. I seriously can't stop my tears

This song talk about what will happen if they wasn't BTS like Jin a CEO, Suga a pianiste, Jhope a doctor, RM a punkman, Jimin a dancer, V a farmer, Jungkook an athlete (taekwondo) but they heard their heat and find their voice and became BTS💜I'm proud to be an ARMY and I will be forever 💜

Jungkook was the one harmonizing with Jimin's highnote. That build up to the climax was my fave part of the song.

The whole story is basically the concept for BTS World the game that they just released! So each person has their own storyline in the game, who they were, or would be if indeed they never met each other but mind you in just the concept of this game. In real life it would be quite different for each of them. It's just so beyond amazing that this most incredibly beautiful, so awesome song, as well as the equally stunning MV, was made as the OST for a game!! Oh, and it's first Jungkook singing so beautifully, then Jimin with that breathtakingly heavenly triple high note!!

Then, u'll look at urself probably thinking why could they still smile despite everything. U'll either feel crappier than u already are, if that's even a word or find strength in how they still keep on persevering with everything that the're going through. Why am I crying.

I don't know how long you played BTS world but if you get to chapter 2 I guess you are able to play "another story". This means that you kinda go to a different dimension in which BTS doesn't and won't exist. (somehow you still know the members names) So Taehyung is a city boy who has to care for the farm of his parents for one month all alone. Jungkook is still in school and is called "the club killer" because no matter what he tries, he's doing it perfectly even if it's his first time. Everybody wants him to be the captain but that's not what he wants. So all the other students don't find the motivation to continue since Jungkook is always better than them. Jimin is a dancer (it's not his job) and his Grandma has a rice cake shop (?). His friends that came with him want him to only concentrate on dancing but on the other side his grandma deals with the shop all alone and the person she buys the groceries from wants to make the prices higher. He didn't know what to do. Dancing or helping his grandma. Sorry but I can't explain the other members that well since my english isn't good enough 😅💜

when i'm feeling down or lost i listen to a list of BTS' tracks i mead for this exact reason, listening to it alone while crying my eyes out and after a while i feel so calm and focused, they really are better than my therapist lol

I too am confused about the true meaning of this video so thank you for trying to clear up some of the confusion, it definitely is emotional. Not gonna lie, I cried my eyes out just seeing them living in the “other world” not in the BTS world & the whole world getting deprived of their talent & entertainment. Thank you BigHit for giving our seven beautiful angels a platform to be launched into our lives...we will forever be eternally grateful. I am older than a lot of y’all but I am a fan & forever will be, so glad I lived long enough to witness their union as a group, successful collaboration & beautiful talented guys becoming friends & top notch entertainers. This song made me so excited for myself and my dreams i think its about bts singing to their dreams in general but in a very poetic manner so people can interpret it as them “again” singing for armys but really this song inspires me and made me want to get back up again and try those things i have stopped doin cause maybe right?
