Yes it was live, that's how amazing jungkooks vocal is, and I'm actually glad that you didnt react to the live one because the live one doesnt have the full video of jungkook doing it live, they like cut of a part of the song of him doing it live, basically it only has 2 minutes of him doing it live, it doesnt show you all of it, so I'm glad you reacted to the one that shows you the lyrics but at least it wasnt pre recorded and was actually live

Jungkook 💜 best voice 🔥This performance of Jungkook was absolutely live this is a mask show where all the participants sang live and Jungkook sang just perfectly his vocals are admired. and this performance was in 2016. if he had sung it today , I think he would have done it much better, because Jungkook is growing so much in vocals every year, better and better like wine.

Jungkooks voice is perfect enough to body the song by himself this cover was done back in 2016 jungkooks voice has since improved more. This performance was done live there are no studio versions the person who did the lyrics simply used the live audio

Not sure if you knew but Jungkook sung this while he appeared on “King of the Masked Singer” in 2016 (I believe), so four years ago. He was 18 then. :)

This was "live" perfornance of Jungkook when he sang at Korean "Masked singer" when he just turned 18 yrs old.. a gift to himself to celebrate his turning of a legal age of adulthood. thank you.

I love both versions so much. Like I don't ever see myself not listening to Big Bang version. I flip between the two. I don't know what it is about G-dragon's voice, but his part is what does it for me, lol. "The kid voice" lol. But it does the job. And Kookie takes a different take to it, and he hits the emotions of the song so well, that you feel as if you've been through the very pain of the lyrics when you haven't. He makes you feel everything.

Jungkook must've practiced really hard before this, as he always does, and he always executes so well (that bangtan bomb of him and Charlie Puth practising before their performance comes to mind). Another thing that he excels at is relaying the emotion of a song, and I think his version does this song justice.

Unfortunately Jungkook lost the 2nd round when he's singing this song....I wish he would join the masked singer again soon

Daesang is one of my favorite vocalist in Kpop because his voice is so incredibly rich and beautiful. The same as Whasa of Mamamoo, rich, powerful, velvety, resonant and gorgeous. Jungkook however blows the original out of the water, totally. First time I heard it on The Masked Singer I sold my soul to Kookie and his voice on spot, lol. How he carries the song, not just technically but emotionally is out of this world.

He was only 19 he was still developing his vocal style tht time .....he was so young and sing a difficult song in front of so big korean singers as judges maybe he was jst a lil nervous in the starting but now he improved sm now he is vocal king sing so many diffrnt styles in singing his solo MY TIME is very diffrnt from his singing style......ilove his vocals forever 👑

His voice is one of the best I've ever heard. His ad libs are out of this world. All the BTS vocalists are superb and so talented. I don't think their vocal and rap line can be rivalled
