In the game there are 2 set of games.. in one we are in 2012 and we as BTS managers are helping them debut. On the other hand there is an alternate world where BTS are not BTS and they are pursuing different careers. Yet even in that different world they bump and meet each other. The whale refers to their song Whalien 52... where a whale has been alone for its entire life as the sound of its cry is really low. But BTS are each others heartbeat and in this song they are saying they believe they were destined to meet each other. And when RM says YOUniverse they show the army bombs which then changes into a galaxy. BTS has referred to ARMY as their galaxy in few of their past songs. So now in this game with the help of ARMY (us being their managers) all the 7 worlds will collide and fuse into a new planet i.e BTS world

The song is by BTS to BTS. A song dedicated to their importance in each other's lives.The MV basically illustrates what might have been if BTS weren't what they're now. The paths they would've chosen without one another and how despite all of these, they'd recognise each other in a heartbeat and how their worlds collide to create this beautiful planet surrounded by the Galaxy of Armys something we call BTS World. The lyric"Like Yesterday, don't let go of this hand ever again" might refer to the MAMA 2018 speech in which Jin revealed that the members considered disbanding but have fortunately found their resolve... All in all, it's about how BTS wouldn't be possible without either one of them.... The rest is for you to discover in the game.

I think the song is meant for army, but also for bts saying that no matter what the are destined to meet and be together. Its saying that what bts is and represents is more than just a lucky meeting, but is fated to be. Also the 2012 thing is a reference to the game, because the whole plot is that the mc travels back in time and is trying to help them debut.

My interpretation of the MV: In an alternate universe, they are not BTS - Taehyung is a farmer, Kookie is in martial arts, JM works in a bakery and dance sometimes, Hobi works in a veterinary hospital, Yoongi is a pianist, Jin works in a hotel and RM is a police detective. These are all side storylines in the game. But even in that alternate universe, they can sense there are something else they’re supposed to be doing, people they’re supposed to be with - hence why they’re all looking lost (looked up to the sky, pensive and all). After the two universes collide (literally in the MV 😳), they’re suddenly living their lives as BTS, as they should be. I read somewhere on Twitter that it’s BTS’ ‘love letter’ for each other as much as for Army 😢 Makes them and us wonder what would’ve happened if they didn’t come together in 2012 (they were practicing No More Dreams choreo, for their debut, in the MV before the concert scenes) and become BTS. What would’ve happened if Taehyung did not accompany his friend to that audition, Kookie chose another company to join, Jin wasn’t on that bus where the scout saw him etc. It’s all about fate and destiny, as per the lyrics of the song.

This basically says that no matter in what universe they are, the 7 of them are destined to meet. V was a farmer here, Jin was a hotelier , RM was a detective, jk was trying to become a taekwondo legend , jimin was a patisserie, suga was a pianist and jhope was a veterinarian. None of them knew each other but all those planet colliding and getting aligned means that they are surely to cross paths with each other no matter what. And the galaxy was representing us ARMYS.

As always, thanks for the reaction! Jimin is my bias so yes, I feel you The 2012 thing relates to the game because you go back in time to 2012 to help BTS actually form the group and debut. And there’s another aspect to the game where the members are just leading their own separate lives and that’s what most of the clips are from in the video.

This MV is all about what the member's life would've been if they weren't in BTS. Imagining a universe where all of them exist at the same time living completely different lives. When they all met back in 2012, they know that its not a coincidence, that it was fate and meant to be. I think when RM and Suga bumped into each other in the MV, it shows that in whatever reality/universe they're living in, they will always meet again because it was destined.

First of all man you’re such a mood 😭 So for the meaning of it : The song is about ARMYS you guessed right, the lyrics are just beautiful, referring to how we always loved them and supported them like if it was destiny. And about the video itself, it’s a little bit deeper. It’s about the game. In the game we are BTS’s manager, in 2012 and we have to form the group, so we start all over again, we are writing their story. In the music video they show a parallel world where they represent what they would have been doing if they weren’t in BTS, well if they weren’t BTS at all. Taehyung would have been a farmer, Jungkook would have continued his training in martial arts and just studying, Hobi would have been a veterinarian, Namjoon represents like a lost boy ?? Idk, Jin would have been just like any other citizen, working in an office, Yoongi would be a piano player and Jimin just a dancer. But then there are some scenes where we see them meeting (Yoongi x Namjoon ; Jimin x Jhope and Jungkook ) like if it was DESTINY. So this song is not just about ARMYS, it’s also about BTS, how they are made to be together and how they are destined to this « shine », and what they call their shine (« I been craving my shine ») is the ARMY fandom! I hope this is gonna help you understand the whole concept, it’s a really heartwarming song and probably one of my favorites. (Ps : sorry im not a native English speaker)

In the music video, they are kind of promoting their new game that just came out. In the game, you get to go back in time to 2012 to before they all met eachother and you try to get them to meet eachother and debut again to get to where they are today. Or you can make them go on different journeys. That is why there was clips of them as the BTS they are today and they also had the other things they could possibly do if they werent in BTS. My theory: I think that it shows us the possible outcomes if they hadn't met but in the video, you can see the two planets colliding. It was always destined to happen. Like it was destined for BTS to meet. Also, in the m/v, namjoon ended up running into yoongi but they didn't know eachother (since they didnt go on the path of becoming apart of BTS). This song is dedicated to Army as they support them from the start till now and what they achieved and still achieving is a result of their friendship, heardship through their journey and Armys' love and support. It shows their struggles in their life and how they suffer through their life, they started in a small company, not enough room to sleep, not enough food to eat, then with their hard work, company's support and Armys' loyalty and love they achieved a huge success and holding a concert in a big stadiums. It's kinda like living a love story between the boys and between Armys and the boys. This what I can understand from the video and the song lyrics. This love make my heart beats for them millions times. This is only my opinion as I felt it when I heard and watched the heartbeat song.

This song and MV is actually so emotional and heartwarming for both BTS and ARMY. There are bits and pieces from a lot of other older MVs in here such as the planets aligning from WINGS album or the galaxy theme from LY Her album. There is also the Not Today landscape at some point in the MV. The MV also includes what the members would have become had they not followed their passion for music such as Taehyung becoming a farmer or Seokjin becoming a businessman like his father, as depicted by the MV. All these are things we have been told before but actually seeing it was so emotional. However, the most beautiful thing is that the members show that they were meant to meet and that they have a very strong and heartfelt relationship. The MV shows that even if they had not become idols, they would have met and become friends. Hence, the parallel universe bit and the worlds colliding. Or how they the dancing to their songs in parallel. There are a lot of other MVs and theories included in this which I haven't talked about because there are too many. I hope that my comment helped.
