Thanks, I think the portal is great too but it will have very limited capabilities. For a person who wants just to play without tinkering on settings, portal is good and would really look pretty. Otherwise, this concept is yes better in terms of capabilities and options.

Hi, do you think ALLDOCUBE iPlay 50 Pro is better than the one you use in the video? I would buy it to practice moonlight sunshine streaming, is it powerful enough or will there be delays?

I haven't tried Alldocube tablet but consider their iPlay 50 Mini Pro version as it is the same specs but compact. I've tried playing with telescopic controllers before and it really does strain your arms if you have bigger and heavier device.

Hello, I’m not familiar with Moonlight, but if it is for remote play services then it will be more than enough. 3 things you should consider, Bluetooth version should atleast be 5 and above, screen should be IPS or better, and Wifi capabilities should be good. Remote play is like video streaming so it relies mostly on the internet connection. The BT is for less delays for controller and screen for beauty haha. You might want the Iplay 50 pro mini. The 8 inch size is perfect for handheld. This iplay 20 is huge. Good for the view but man it becomes heavy overtime on handheld.

Helio G99 is trash for game streaming, spend a little bit more and get a tablet with SD865+ or 870, those SOCs have very low decoding latency, and they are powerful enough to emulate games up to PS2 and some switch

@@thrifttechgadget4883 I don't own any device with Helio G99 but I have a phone and a tablet that have SD 870 and streaming from moonlight is buttery smooth at 1080p. There's a list of decoding latency using various phones/tablets with Moonlight, the SD 870 has single digit latency in ms which is consistent with my personal experience, while the G99 has 20+ ms. The SD 870's video decoding capability exceeds some of the newer SOCs such as 8 Gen 1 and it's so much cheaper, perfect for game streaming.

What are the back triggers like ? I've heard they am just plain terrible ? They have tons of travel and are wobbly, and you need to apply a lot of force at the end to click in is this true ??

Not really, it’s really shallow, where I always accidentally press it since I am not used to back triggers. Not wobbly as well and the build actually pretty solid.

Nope, it will automatically connect as Xbox mode using wired.

Does it pick up as a wired connection or is it just charging? Also so you have to turn off Bluetooth for it to connect wired?

It detects as Xbox controller, and it turns on on its own when you connect it and turns off when you disconnect it.

Can't say I care for the PS5 controller design. But if it gets the job done.

Thank you. It's a 0.5cm long type c to c Essager brand. 66w charging capability, which I bought online in Lazada. I posted the link in the description, but Lazada, I think, is an asian online market, though.

Welcome! Unfortunately, I don’t have an Android 11 here. I think there is a fix for an issue with 11 to disable service accessibility for 3rd party apps might fix but not really sure ai can’t test.

Can you measure the maximum width this controller can accommodate, with and without the padding. I am hoping it wider than the official specs when the padding is removed.

That's impossible. The controller's port is type C, and there's no phone or tablet that has type A. It will work on computers, though.

I think it would be better if you put the usb c cable in the left side, so it would be closer to the usb port

That’s also an option, and a shorter type C cable would be good too. Although the orientation of the landscape would be the opposite, kinda like the many complaints of the Gamesir X2.

Whats better d8 or d9 ?

Every feature in D8 was copied to D9 except the vibration and RGB. It is better like DS4, and the ergonomics is better in D9 IMO for linger handheld. D8 is more compact, though, and looks cooler. It will depend on preference for the button layout.

So why is the usb necessary?

When you use USB, it completely removes lag vs Bluetooth connection. Some might want to use it for realtime online games like COD or PUBG.

This controller have so many good things, it's almost perfect for tablet But it dont have the most importand thing is build and control quality, peoples report the stick and back button are not good enough for tryhard. I'm still using gamesir t4 kaleid with moded ipega phone grip to fit with my ipad mini 6 coz there are no better option. But for causual game play this controller is almost perfect for the price !

I agree with the build. Due to the long stretch, the firmness pf the grip is a bit loose. You can put paddings behind to remedy that. If you love the ergonomics of Dualsense, this is the closest.

I can’t confirm since I don’t have Iphone 15 to test type c. But the bluetooth works for IOS.

I do something similar but with a USB C adapter that has charging and 3.5mm input, that way I can charge my tablet and use wired headphones. It would probably be more useful to do a wired connection to the controller since I don't charge it when I'm playing that often. The only issue is that I can't find an adapter with otg and 3.5mm input.

I can’t seem to find one either. The type c usb adapters with jacks are usually just for charging and no data connection so OTG might not work.

@@thrifttechgadget4883 I found a USB c splitter to 2 female USB c ports. Looks like it says they support headphones and data transfer. I'll connect my headphones with a USB c adapter I have and connect the controller.
