While I didn't get a shoutout like you did, I'm happy to have helped spread the word through Vitalbmx and KZread, as I truly believe this tech will change the freecoaster scene for the better! To be fair, though I did initially learn about the hub from your channel, I was the first (in America) to obtain/review it ;) I talked back and forth with the team, for something like a year, to get as much info as possible and when the product was finally ready to be shipped to the United States, they contacted me and I bought the 1st unit. I purchased it for the full price, even though they offered me an "employee discount" as I wanted to fully support the project! stroking myself aside, I appreciate your channel and feel you have brought an extra sense of community within bmx with your news segments and I also really dig your unique riding; Keep up the great content!

Thanks for essentially talking me into getting the freenight hub over a year ago. I've enjoyed it the whole time and had very few issues since September 2019 when I got it. I'm so pumped that the rest of BMX will be getting on board with this tech and it feels great to have been an OG rider of it. I'm really hoping most all of the parts are compatible with our Freenight hubs and if not, that Tal is still going to keep stock on parts for it. I know I'm seeing a little bit of wear on the corners of my clutch, which I assume is what causes it to slip sometimes after I've been riding a while.

Thanks for the video Brant. I remain highly sceptical still. We've seen new designs and refinements in bmx many times, sometimes they work, sometimes they become game changers, and sometimes they flop. But without the companies taking the chances we'd never be further forward, which is the important bit to remember. In the UK this hub is still 3x times the cost i paid for a Helix V2.
