His problem was more the offense as a whole, since it was based on slow developing routes and made the o line block in ways they didn’t normally excel at (run blockers spending most of their time in pass protection)… which put Bryce under a lot of pressure. Seeing and throwing to the midfield is oddly one of his better traits.

@edcottingham127 күн бұрын
I don't mind Matt giving his sincere opinions, but I think he badly whiffed on a couple of points: #1 as slight as Bryce was, he took a relentless, incredible pounding and jumped right up pretty much every time (I agree that the Panther should have benched him to protect him a little in some of those games. #2 He neglects to credit the Panthers organization for doing everything possible to upgrade the team with so little capital. A very formidable, vastly improved O-line. And a lot of very promising help in the receivers room. Also, a promising running back. They both gave Bryce protection and targets, and also created the conditions to have an upgraded running game, which takes some of the pressure off Bryce. OK, little bit of a fanboy here perhaps suffering from delusional, off-season optimism. But I think they are going to win some games this year.

I hope Bryce doesn’t suffer from the Bama effect. I wont say he isnt good, but hard to judge a qb coming from Bama. It’s not hard to look great at Bama when your team is grossly overtalented then 95% of the teams you play. Mac Jones comes to mind.

Youngs sizes wasn't the problem. No matter how big or tall you are if you have no O line to block for you. And no deep threat receiver. Or even a good receiver to throw to. Then throw in no running backs either. What did you expect. Football is a team sport. It takes all the players, offense and defense to win games.

His neck would be the tell, tell sign if he’s using any testosterone related enhancements or PEDs. Not saying he is, but there should be no shock if he is doing so. The NFL is as bad if not worse than baseball, but it is not spoken on as much because of the revenue generation per individual player in each sport and other factors. I will say his left arm only shows more definition, but that feature can easily be manipulated using any basic photo editing app.

What
1:36 it was Frank Reich pretty self explanatory he did it for the money and he wanted Stroud actually but Tepper wanted Young and the GM at the Time Scott Fitterer(Yes Man who traded away CMC,Moore)
Last year was absolutely horrible speaking as a panthers fan
Dang bro bicep looks like Josh Allen
Has to sting seeing baker mayfield doing his thing
Roll Tide 🐘
Kid is jacked
Ok, I'll ask. Why did he not muscle out his junior year at Bama?
Does that help him see over the line

His problem was more the offense as a whole, since it was based on slow developing routes and made the o line block in ways they didn’t normally excel at (run blockers spending most of their time in pass protection)… which put Bryce under a lot of pressure. Seeing and throwing to the midfield is oddly one of his better traits.
People seem to forget the season the two Manings had when they first got in the league.Without the right support, their father neither would have lasted more the two years.
Took more sacks than other Rookie QBs with a oline that had more holes than swiss cheese and still played just about every game, so proved size was over talked
That image seems misleading..I have looked at others and that's the only one where he looks like that . Hmmm..I dunno ..
Im a cowboys fan. I say give Bryce time. He has shown toughness. He can succeed. Give the kid time
I hope Bryce doesn’t suffer from the Bama effect. I wont say he isnt good, but hard to judge a qb coming from Bama. It’s not hard to look great at Bama when your team is grossly overtalented then 95% of the teams you play. Mac Jones comes to mind.

Yup I agree
Youngs sizes wasn't the problem. No matter how big or tall you are if you have no O line to block for you. And no deep threat receiver. Or even a good receiver to throw to. Then throw in no running backs either. What did you expect. Football is a team sport. It takes all the players, offense and defense to win games.
Great bryce is short and chubby now

That photo is not legit. There's a video from 6 days ago doing a press conference and he is not even close to looking like that photo
Thumbnail Photoshop
Man look at the diff between his right n left.. either that's photoshopped or Palmalina havin a serious Party every night 🤣🤣🤣
I've been watching bryce since he played for the Oregon little league team. I accidentally found him looking for the college team highlights. But even then I knew he was better than his pears. So that was a happy accident. Then he committed to my favorite team Alabama. ROLL FUCKING TIDE!! To top it all off my favorite NFL team THE CAROLINA PANTHERS chose him number 1. I'm not going to give up on him after 1 year with the worst O-Line in the league. You gotta give guys some time to get their feet in the water.

He was in a presser just the other day and he still looks the same. Lot of you have no idea what’s going on
Hopefully the Panthers have done right by Bryce. It really waan't him for the most part.
Kyler Murray is 5, 9 Russell Wilson 5, 11 these qbs are undersized Bryce is gonna be just fine
Why only his right arm look like that lmao 😂 arms don’t look like they match or bro just been over jill house every night 😂
The problem is, it don’t matter how much size he puts on? Between Tepper and the HC. That organization is doomed. They’re the new Commanders. We’re finally trending upwards🤞🏼Hopefully?
He's still a Munchkin 🤣

There’s no way you’re sitting here reporting on a photoshopped picture lmfao. If you’re serious, this is gonna lose you a lot of respect…

It’s not just about him being small, it’s about how he projects himself. He comes off as timid to me. Like he doesn’t have any dog in him. Not saying that he doesn’t, his body language and demeanor just makes him seem soft and not confident. He seems like a great dude though not trying to badmouth him.

It's called performance enhancing drugs. It was rampant when I played college ball 10 years ago so I know for a fact it is unreal on the professional level
Bruh, it’s just an angle. Dude is still tiny
I knew the Texans were better. I'm a diehard TITANS fan so don't speak for others big dawg...
I declare in the name of Jesus Bryce Young will have a great year 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
His neck would be the tell, tell sign if he’s using any testosterone related enhancements or PEDs.
Unfortunately for Bryce the Panthers are still severely lacking... Wouldn't expect much
H/e looks like Jalen ?Hurts.
Bulking up doesn't make you taller.... just saying....
Nice work Bryce, but keep tanking the teams trash
I’ll be honest Bryce looked slow getting out of the pocket a lot last year idk how weight gain gone help but the Oline is better and we have more weapons
He’s photoshopped no way.

Photoshopped, bro. Look at his recent pics and that left arm.
Fake pics
I fw Bryce young but he excuses were kinda insane this year at no point did he show flashes exept the packers game he has no line but still he takes too many sacks bc he can’t stand tall in condensed Pockets he isn’t a amazing Justin feilds type athlete so he can get away with some bad habits I’m hoping the best for him but I don’t see his team get any better and
Really not seeing that much of a difference
Pause
Lol hes too small
It’s not real
Still too little
