    His casting as Walter White is the greatest casting choice in television history. No one else could’ve played Walter White like him. He embodied that role like no one else could’ve.

    @@concettasorvillo3719 Dont know about that tbh. Spacey is a terrific actor, and his subtle, complex character in LA Confidential was the best performance for me. But Spacey has played menacing roles and we kind of already see him as such, so the crossover to the dark side would not have been as compelling or as astonishing

    Really? To me it always felt like Walter is Hal finally growing up! I mean take that scene when he sets the Winnebago Meth lab on fire in the middle of the desert!

    The affection with which he talks about Malcolm in the Middle is genuinely lovely. You can tell everybody in that cast loved each other because it really shows onscreen.

    There's an interview with Frankie Muniz (Malcolm) on Steve-O's podcast. Frankie says that even today, Bryan Cranston will message him every two weeks just to check up and ask how he's doing.     That’s so awesome how he mentions that he played Hal to prove the character wasn’t disinterested in his family, but distracted by other things easily. My mom actually said she never liked the show until she realized that Hal was actually a good and caring father who just got distracted by other things easily. I had no idea that was so intentional on Bryan’s part. Amazing acting!

    I love how Bryan approached his character in relation to his counterpart. It really goes to show that he thought of the overall story and how to enhance everyone else. Just a brilliant actor.

    I rewatch Malcolm in the Middle start to finish every couple years and every time I am blown away by how good that show is and how amazing Bryan Cranston portrays that role. Pure acting and comedy genius. Also Malcom in the Middle may be my favorite series finale episode of all time

    Cranston killed it as Hal - The goofy husband who loved Lois unconditionally. The episodes hold up amazingly well... The one with the speed walking to the one with the POV as a fly. All of it.

    My understanding is that pretty much every actor had to flesh out their own character. Nicolas Winding Refn was pretty open about actors pitching ideas on how the movie could be improved.

    Malcolm in the middle is one of the best sitcoms ever made. What a character and what a show. It was genuinely funny with incredible writing and incredible characters. One of the only shows where nearly every single side character is just as funny and quirky as the main cast. Everyone is amazing in it.

    For the most part, Malcolm In The Middle has aged pretty well. Still love Hal's character. It was strange to see "Hal" in Breaking Bad... took about half an episode to become Walter White in my head.

    I’m so blessed I had the opportunity to meet Bryan. I’m a massive breaking bad fan, but I first discovered him watching Malcolm in the middle when I was in junior high. Though there was a huge crowd, he took a selfie with me and complimented my goatee and even let me call him Hal. What a guy

    One of the worst and most irrelevant and overrated characters in television history for sure. While Hal is his best character by far. Walter White is just a forgettable character written for people who watch comic book movies.

    He was really solid in Drive. I like little nuanced things like the way he puffs his cigarette and how he tells the driver "oh that's right you don't smoke, better off anyways." Felt like a real smoker

    Bryan Cranston is so thoughtful with all his characters. He really loves to get in the mindset of the person he's playing and it's so neat to see how detailed he gets with why the characters do what they do and the core of them. Brilliant actor.

    Of all actors, Cranston is the most like a chameleon. Can’t tell you how many movies of his I’ve seen and never recognized it was him until much later. Really shows how well he turns into the characters he plays.

    The outtakes in the Strike episode are hilarious. When Jerry and the two faced girl show up and Tim reacts to her not so good face, Seinfeld kept laughing so they had to do several takes. Each time, Bryan changed his reaction but it would be even funnier, so Jerry would laugh more

    He’s brilliant. Not only did he raise me during my child hood on Malcom in the middle, then he gave us all breaking bad to follow along as we grew up and out of kid shows, and then he just kept being badass after breaking bad. Bryan Cranston is the epitome of success as an actor and artist. I would love to meet him one day.

    I was a teen when Malcolm was on and I never missed an episode. It was must watch TV for me and the beauty of it is that it's a show that's appreciated in value for me. It just shows why that show is still my favorite all time show. I also love the fact that Cranston has such big love for it. It shows that Malcolm was never a paycheck for him but a show that meant something more.

    He is one of the best actors of all time, and his understanding of human nature is what makes him truly a genius actor. Also "I'm the one who knocks" is one of the coldest lines of all time. I just finished Your Honor and Bryan was absolutely phenomenal in it, season 1 was definitely better than season 2 but he was absolutely great throughout.
