Realizing GQ deadass has some of the best and most introspective videos of artists. They give them freedom to say whatever they feel. I’m always called back to the Rick Rubin and Kendrick conversation being a 30 min zen garden. Kendrick’s ingenious mind and Rick Rubin’s ability to prod for that genius to help people talk about things they would otherwise hide. GQ is to interviews what NPR is for music. Interviews are GQs bread and butter, and Tiny Desk is NPRs staple.
