Brute Force Clutch Spring Install
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is a video showing a 2023 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 Dalton Clutch Kit Spring only install. The folks at Dalton recommend this kit 26-28" tires and below 4000' elevation. After installation I had to remove one of the stock spacers in the secondary clutch to get the belt at proper deflection, using my stock belt.
Parts used are follows:
Spring kit: drivepower.ca/shop_usa/clutch...

Wow, Stage3's. Definitely riding in style.
The tan color in the center of the clutch cover is the bushing, it's a fiber bushing and the cracks are just casting marks as the other fella said, always grease the threads of your puller gives it way more torque less chance of damage. Good video man👌

Thank you
I worked in a casting plant that made transfer, and transmission housings for GM, and Ford. That's just the way they look when they come out of the die cast molding. Thats normal, nothing to worry about. I inspected the parts at the end of the lines.

Glad it helped. It’s a pretty easy install just don’t forget the belt tension measurement

@@erocgr00t6 how much acceleration did you get back with these springs? was it a notable difference?

@@BruteforceExplorer yes. The best way to describe it is, it felt like I had better throttle response because the belt seemed grab quicker and accelerated earlier

@@erocgr00t6omG. GOT THE SPRINGS ON. THANK YOU for posting this video , my brute is a monster again
You can just step on the clutch to compress it then use a screw driver in the hole to keep it compressed. That compressor comes in handy for the secondary tho Edit. You really should get the gold puller. It's way better
I am going up to a 28 inch xt400 tire and they said all I need is the spring kit not the clutch weights. So next weekend I'll see how much of a difference it makes. I have the same brute force in fragment camo

I did have to remove a spacer/ washer from the secondary but it pulls like it did on the stockers. Good luck on the Brute, they’re awesome machines
Is getting the right deflection hard to do? Thought about doing the same to my Brute but that seems to be the part I'm most hesitant about. Thanks

It can be time consuming but the payoff is worth it
I am sure with the new machines you can get away with the cheaper clutch puller but I would advise getting the EPI puller as I have broken one before and it is not sometthing you want to go threw or risk. But thanks for sharing I agree with you not as much info or videos on the Brute.
Hello how are you? I wanted to know how it went with the clutch kit. I am going to change the tires of my brute force to a 27 inch with the factory wheels and I wanted to know if it is really worth it. Thanks

Yes, 100% worth it in my opinion. It restores the low end torque
The front spring just affects tee stall speed.
Hope some of this kinda helps you get a general idea of how these parts are made . . . kzread.infoKEXvF3O-Ugs
