The tan color in the center of the clutch cover is the bushing, it's a fiber bushing and the cracks are just casting marks as the other fella said, always grease the threads of your puller gives it way more torque less chance of damage. Good video man👌

I think the little fairing increases top speed little bit by lifting the air flow over my chest. I ordered mine also from Monkeybikeworld here in Brisbane. They have reliable service. Mine is banana yellow and also not exact match, but close enough. Thanks for a good video.

You can just step on the clutch to compress it then use a screw driver in the hole to keep it compressed. That compressor comes in handy for the secondary tho Edit. You really should get the gold puller. It's way better

Nice repair tip. I had no idea there was a screw there. How you liking that T Rex Racing rear rack? Does the little lock box rattle or seem pretty tight? I like T Rex stuff.

  • @erocgr00t6

Thank you. The rack is great and YES, it rattles from time to time. Not the door but the box over time loosens. It almost like a harmonic vibration. I removed the box and installed small rubber washers and a dab of blue locktite. So far so good 🤞

Great tutorial. I had the exact same screen from the UK on my 2019. It installed great and performed excellent fir me. I'm in Florida where its flat. I picked up 2-3 mph just from losing a bit of wind resistance. They do an excellent job on the paint with this. Two things I had occur were I overtightened the clear screen screws and it splintered the screw hole. Then the small circular screw head caps like to pop off. Besides that mine performed awesome for the 6k miles I had the bike. I traded mine in like a fool for a bigger bike. Now I'm looking at getting a 2023 or 2024 just like your's. One thing that concerns me on the 5th gear model is I read on forums and watched a few You Tube videos about 2nd gear burning up and there being a grinding noise in the transmission at speeds of 35mph and up. No recalls I could find. Please share your experiences on your bike as your ownership progresses. One thing I did is add a headlight guard one top off my windscreen mounts. It helped camoflauge that gap you mentioned. I have my old bike and all it's cool accessories on my channel. The T rex Racing center stand was sweet. Excellent for all the chain adjustments you'll be doing.

@@erocgr00t6Here in Australia freeway speed is 100km max on most parts, On favourable conditions, I keep with traffic 90 to 95km/hour cruising speed at slow lane without trashing the engine. Fairing in front and roundish large lockable carrier box behind my back makes trailing turbulence smaller, helps the engine work. Box is very useful for groceries and other stuf like locking chains, but little bit eyesore for Monkey size bike.
