I am a Kyosho racer so I got 2 Fazers and 1 went dirt with the Rally conversion kit and RB6 shocks and the other is for tarmac. They are too much fun. 👍🏼

Try putting some tarmac tires on that kyosho phaser and I think you'll have a blast with it it won't try to traction roll near as much you'll get a little more slide you'll have a fun fun time with it

Very good showdown and comparison, bro! I took the Scooby out today and tried my best to keep it straight in the dirt, but I have to agree with you. She's super squirrely even at half throttle on the stock motor.. and I'll be throwing a gyro in there soon along with the 5900kv motor out of the GT. The Redcat or Yokomo is probably the best affordable drift setup and the fact the yours is still good and the same price after 10 years is proof right there! ..."Subarbo" 😆😂 That thing is sick ngl! *brushless! more power, affordable, easy maintenance and low noise

Really enjoyed this video! A great collection of 1/10's you have there mate, Very nice. 👍 I am wondering why you said "" The problem with the Kyosho "" @07:50 in reference to the suspension. Thanks Jimbo! I really appreciate this comment. And you're right, after some tire changes and actually driving the thing correctly, it is a blast! I was just thinking how it goes as straight as an arrow WOT with tarmac tires fitted and one less spring spacer. And tuning the shock oil made a big difference. I'll try to put up a better video featuring it soon. Thanks again! 😁 👍

Nice comparison. I’m about 3 years in the hobby and I’ve only done electric. I would love to try nitro but the noise is too much for my neighborhood. As far as picking a power plant ima have to say brushless. Anyway love your channel. Just found it and subscribed 👍✌🏼

Yeah I'm in Australia and here we got the same issue. Neighbours don't like the sound of Nitro and its banned at lots of tracks. Electric brushless is awesomely fast and smooth. Brushed motored cars can still be made to go really fast. I'd say electric RC cars for sure. And don't get me wrong I really like the idea of a real motor nitro RC car, but the noise and mess is kind of off putting. The mess inside the body shell and all over the chassis. But there is still some awesomely fast nitro cars around. Even Kyosho say the nitro USA 1 gets 60 mph straight from the box. That's pretty good and it's faster than the brushless USA 1. Go figure

There a little more expensive there in Malaysia there 140USD but thats expected your so far away. Tuning will take time but I enjoy it. In Australia i use to glways tune due to weather but now I work in Malaysia its always 32 degrees Celsius 365 so I rarely tune now.

@bigbristv yeah it's nice to be the same weather that's life on the equator 12hrs of sunlight and constantly warm weather perfect for rc. I seen snow for the first time in 2021 and it was ok for a few days then I didn't like it.

It rang a bell, years ago when I was looking for a better price on a specific brand of English shoes, a company in Malaysia was the best deal in town (well, out of town) and had to do the conversion to Ringetts 😄

There was smoke but I think I hadn't realized yet the gasket was blown at some point. But yes, I'll try for more smoke. Good looking out!
