The Tan thing really was stupid with Sting, you gotta make it fit with the circumstances, Like Heyman being so upset about the Bloodline that he can't shave or die his hair,Sting was up in the rafters for a year,it would have looked stupid if HD showed up all tanned, was Brandon Lee tanned in the Crow?NO!!!

Sting was all pilled out and having a ton of personal problems. Ima grew up a little Stinger. Idk if he has said as much exactly but Sting's head wasn't in thd game. That doesn't justify what happened at Starcade.

Knock it off, Sting looked like hell, and put no effort into it at all. It wasn't about him being "tan".

  • @jasondiend4248

The thing about Sting being tan is the bare minimum he could have done. People take it out of context. The entire context was about Sting being strung out. He was pilled up. He wasn't working out. He was deflated in his body. He looked like shit. So the comment about he could have at least gotten a tan is meant to highlight that he didn't care at the time because of his personal problem. Bare minimum.

That power plant in wcw was such crap ran Dave off but Goldberg and mongo straight on tv and never taught anything power plant didn't teach anyone how to work , I see people complain online that Goldberg couldn't work a 6 min match against regal yet it was booked that way as I watch it and once they finished the tv broke for commercial so the power plant had a year to teach Goldberg to wrestle and couldn't, if wcw was smart they should of put him against savage and he would of done what ddp did and write everything down and rehearsal it to death till it looked great only other great looking match Goldberg had was with Bret but we all know the two spots he got wrong that night

As long as the trainer would _actually_ train you for real after the fact, it doesn't bother me that much. Hiro Matsuda was known for having one of the toughest dojos in the world. Look at the Broken Skull Sessions with Ron Simmons for a video of the torture he put his students through. Famously, Matsuda intentionally broke the leg of Hulk Hogan when he tried out just to see if he was more than some long-haired, bass guitar-playing hippie. He came back, and the rest was history.

If people want to tan, so be it. For a lot of the entertainment world though, it's sad that it's looked upon as a necessity to "look better". Hercules Fernandez ( R.I.P. ) & Bret Hart ( in his early yrs ) didn't need a tan to become successful stars in their craft. Herc spent most of his career without one. He looked like an alabaster god. If we weren't programmed to death to think "tanned is the way you should look" we wouldn't be having this conversation. People should be proud of their natural complexion. Damn sure Ray was of his

Agree on his lack of wrestling skills. Disagree that just any guy could sell his gimmick. If you put say Mongo in with that gimmick he would have looked silly coming out to the ring blowing smoke through his nose or making faces at the camera. Also the name Goldberg was catchy and the Charlie Manson eyes lent a nice authoritative touch, he just had the total look.
