Warren, I totally agree with you their as well. Not only is Bruce dickinson great performer with Iron Madien. But he also Intelligent person. This interviewer does not know anything about music.

Well, to be honest, people like Dickinson are the exception. Rock Stars might be a bit more conscious and educated or open minded than the average teenage pop star, but they are very often just heavy drinking outcasts or high school drop outs.

The latest Iron Maiden album is a masterpiece. Bruce, now 63, is performing better than ever, even after having throat cancer! An amazing person, incredible performer and long may he continue to create and inspire.

Bruce is a legend - intelligent, articulate and funny.

I love the abrupt switch in the interview from heavy metal singer to businessman.

Will I Am, whoever the hell he is. GO ON BRUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only reconfirm yet again the tremendously high esteem to which I hold this complex, mature, charistmatic and utterly COOL man. As for the BBC interviewer: for God's sake, do you really think being patronising with and speaking over your guests will make anyone really buy into the sophisticated image you are trying to portray for yourself?!

A very intelligent man.

I have met Bruce on several occasions and used to live above a pub that Nicko drank in. I was also a manager in a pub in New Southgate,London when the band came into play "Crystal Maze" on the video machine and I can tell you they are the most approachable and nice guys all round. Bruce is a true gent and will give anyone the time of day, just don't take the piss.

He is so enthusiastic, confident and confident. The interviewer is just doing her job. If it were me, I would not ask the hard questions as I am a fan.

Definitely one of my favorite people in this world.

Bruce is a brilliant man! ALL the guys in Maiden seem really decent Lads. Like they coulda been your best pal when you were a kid.

He is very humble. Love him. Love his music.

It's wonderful what you said. I want to ask you: i cry so often because of pure happyness by listening to Iron Maiden. It is a reaction of intense happyness i have to come down after that. I cry. There is no other music in this world that gives me so much love and energy. Is it normal, doctor?

I am sorry, I must retract my prior comment about Bruce being brilliant. I had only watched half the video, and spoke too soon. Going off "half-cocked" as it were... ( that's a reference to guns/rifles that used a flint firing.. ahh... nevermind that ). Anyway, yes - I said " Bruce is a brilliant man ". I was wrong. All the great metal albums had beautiful ballads...Planet Caravan anyone? Dream on? Still in love with you? Tangerine? Changes? ...mark of a great songwriter.

I started being SERIOUSLY interested in Rock N' Roll only during 2013 because of my office mate at the time. For nearly 4 years I could not listen to Maiden's music. It was too rich in music and very moving. Until a dramatic event took place in my life in the fall of 2017. The first of their songs I got attached to is DANCE OF DEATH. There is a small boy in the plot of the song that escapes from that dance of death that was the Black Death plaguing Europe. I am still so emotionally attached to that song that when I play it I get on my knee as the boy in the song plot does. And I used to escape problems, like the boy in the plot. Maiden and their character Eddie have been so instrumental to me that I stopped running from troubles and I started facing them in 2018. In this process, Maiden also unleashed that 'trapped' boy inside my soul. And since then, that boy has also become a writer of kids' short fiction stories, among many other things that I could not even dream of a few years ago. Regarding Bruce's business ideas, I think it is laudable. Others have succeeded in this. One name that springs to mind is Niki Lauda. The world needs big companies, no doubt about this. But the world needs more entrepreneurs who start small with bold ideas and then change the games.

He had an awesome description and took the words right out of my mouth with how he felt about Simon Cowell and American Idol etc.

I love this interview. I've never seen anything done by Bruce that hasn't been fantastic and inspiring. What an amazing bloke.

He's also got a strong energy,funny and intelligent..love iron maiden music..💪

Started listening to Iron Maiden since 1981. I was 10 years old. Bruce is my hero!! lol Amazing individual.

I'm grateful i got to see Iron Maiden during their North American Tour, i felt like i was apart of history with such an amazing band! LOVE IRON MAIDEN FOREVER!!

He's so right....bad ass. Love Bruce.

I spent my childood listening to the first 7 albums of iron maiden ( I quit after fear of the dark). And listening to this man today ( i'm 36 now) everything makes sense. Now I know that that weird energy that this man was giving me at the time, was true, still is today.

That's only numbers 3-9 for the first 9 Maiden albums. But Bruce is Maiden to me! His solo album Chemical Wedding is the absolute best.

One of the greatest singers, one of the nicest guys out there.

I disagree... I wish they WOULD consider Bruce Dickinson a heavy metal stereotype! He sets a very good example on which to be judged.

This man speaks so well and brilliantly. A really bombastic and wise man. I hope England realizes that even though he might sing in a Heavy Metal band he is not a guy which most of the people in the world consider as a stereotype towards Heavy Metal.

Steve Harris is the songwriter for Iron Maiden. He has collaboration but he's such an honest person and humble.

There are so few celebrities I would want to hang out with but Bruce Dickinson is most certainly one of them. What a cool cat.

She interrupts him because the show has a time limit, and there other things shes wants to ask him. Also, Bruce is a really good talker who tends to go into tightly knit details about what ever he is discussing, which is awesome! He is a very intelligent guy. What really needs to happen is that he needs to do a 2 hour documentary called: Bruce Can Do It Better for Cheaper! He is correct, the governments of both the US and UK, are black holes, laced with corruption. Nothing new really, it's just how human nature plays out. The civilized world is just going through what Rome went through (history repeats). It's just happening at a faster pace than the 500 years for the decline of the Roman Empire. Bruce should look into running for office. He may be able to slow the decline down a bit, Lol. Up The Irons!

The real Jari Maenpaa is a genius and a legend also.. some of the most complex and epic metal ever written,composed and recorded . Their first album is beyond epic. A genuine masterpiece when the word masterpiece is used far too liberally. Battle against time is perfection as well as sadness and hate.......

Instead of bragging he wrote a song that captures his emotions while flying (Coming Home... "stretched the fingers of my hands, covered countries with my span" is a powerful line)

I did find the interrupting slightly annoying but I'm glad she did it. Bruce clearly has a lot to say on many things but given that most of his interviews are solely about music (with the occasional WOW you're a pilot/author/fencer too!? bit) it was good of her to move him along and cover the range of topics. I would love to interview Bruce, from this it seems like we would disagree on some 'world issues' but he's also very insightful and thoughtful.
