She is so fortunate to interview Bruce.
"They asked me in iron maiden; it worked hasn't it" haha
Looove his accent
Bruce is honest and lovely man!
When Bruce was asked to give advice for young bands, he should have said: "Find a manager like Rod Smallwood"!

Great interview. I'm a cancer survivor, and I identified with everything he was saying. It's not the cancer that makes you sickest, it's the treatment. I remember the radiation was particularly brutal. Also, the feeling he described when it was gone, is exactly what it feels like. You spend so much of your time fighting to survive, that when it's over, you're not quite sure what to do with yourself.

Dragonlady474 youre not quite sure what to do with yourself because a cancer can return someday and you think how to spend your time happier as much as possible cause you can't know how much time is left? Sorry if this question is unpleasant to read,just want to understand the psychology of survivors. Cheers!

The question is fine. I was just at a loss, after I was cured, because I had spent so much of my time and energy fighting for my life, I just had to pause and figure out "what next?". Right before I found out what was making me sick, I had just graduated with a Criminal Justice degree. So I never got to use my degree. I had stage 3 cancer, and by the time I got through the surgery, and multiple treatment courses of chemo and radiation, I had to spend some time recuperating. It wasn't that I wasn't happy, I was very happy to be over the cancer. I just was lost for a while.

You know,it is so common ourdays to hear someone's died from cancer and a lot of people in the list are under 30 or even kids. Of course if a man is younger there're more chances to survive a desease,but as i noticed,in cancer's case the youth isn't helping much. Of course a lot depends on the stage of illness but also,i suppose,the huge factor is a personal immunity of each person. I mean,there were older people who had much stronger immunity than some younger ones and that's why they made it and younger ones didn't,how do you think?
@dragonlady4747

I think it depends on where the cancer is located, and the attitude of the patient. The attitude being the most important. Since the chemo wipes out your immune system, that wouldn't be too big of a factor, or at least it would seem that way. I prayed a lot, laughed a lot, and listened to music. I kept my spirit upbeat. I allowed myself only ONE time to cry it out. After that, I fought. I also took a variety of vitamins and supplements at home. I swear by CoQ10, I had taken it for years, and still take it. I drank Aloe water, and took vitamins A,E and B complex, plus Iron. Having said all of that, I had made up my mind that despite fighting, if it were my time to go, then I'd still be okay. I have an equal amount of family in Heaven.

Dragonlady474 yes,i agree with you,self-attitude is crucial and it's a very hard "job" to stay positive. As for praying, some people who didn't believe in any gods and weren't into this religion stuff at all,you know,they started to believe in jesus or something hoping that this gonna help them to beat cancer. And i can understand them at this point,though i'm also non-believer and it's a pure psychology in my eyes. And when they won the battle they stayed as believers since then. Have you met these kind of people?
What an inspiration this man is.
Bruce great inspiration, thank you Bruce for everything
Fortunately there is a rise in buying vinyl. I love having the actual album in my hands! U can’t hug a download!

Bruce dickinson Is a god 🤘🤘🤘
As much as I agree with Bruce, that Napster destroyed many musicians' hardwork, but, wouldn't you agree if I said that if it weren't Sean Parker who created Napster, somebody else would have created something similar to Napster. So, I don't think downloading of music could have been prevented at any cost.

R.I.P Bruce Dickinson Sr.
Music business is dead. RIP old days
Oh Bruce but when Lars fought napster u were making fun of him at one of Maiden s concert... Irony 🤔
@jinzoslegions
6 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I was gonna say I love Bruce to death but that was kind of hypocritical of him to go ahead and tell people to go download free music and basically shun Metallica and then years later completely take back what you say without so much as an apology to Lars. Again, I still love Bruce as well as Maiden and Metallica.

A lot of people these days work very hard for practically no money Bruce - not just musicians . Moreover, the poor quality of the recording available today due to loudness wars / compression / brick-walling. .

The CD version of Firepower is one of the worst recordings I have ever heard - it's compressed / brickwalled within an inch of it's life. The vinyl version is passable - but compare that to Japanese CD's of British Steel released prior to 1992 and it's nowhere near the same sound quality.
Bruce was trolling the interview from the moment he said "Hi, I'm Bruce Dickinson"
Thicc
I didn't like that she jumped to the beginning to his solo, nothing about the early days when he started. Clive Burr was a dear friend of his and he didn't like that he was let go at all. Free music has put a damper on our culture for sure. Records havee made a big comeback but are very over priced. .
It will have been incredible to see mohammed trying to destroy Jesus with no results. 😏☝️
bored bruce
Bullshit interview! Bruce said himself that he does not give a fuck if people download their music and blamed Metallica for taking down Napster?! Totally incorrect, if Maiden still made good albums maybe their sales would be better?!
