I just finished reading Bruce's Auto biography. Fantastic Read. I believe Bruce Dickinson is a Super Human. We Need More People in this world like Him.

I also just finished the autobiography, and listened on Audible, narrated by Bruce, which was a blast. Very entertaining. Want to soak up as much of the Brucey genius as possible. Hope he eventually publishes all the stories not included.

I am fearless enough to go up into a plane with Bruce. My first time on a plane, I traveled three thousand miles to Scotland from America. I am hooked on this podcast.

Fantastic podcast. I've loved every episode and cannot wait to see what else you both have in store for us listeners. To answer your question, yes, I would absolutely go up in a plane flown by Bruce. He has an excellent professional reputation as a pilot and so I would feel safe with my life in his hands. My wife on the other hand... well she just hates flying in general. A really, REALLY great episode. Of course, the first two were also very interesting. It also prompted me to find and take as many online Psychopathy test as I could find. You have made a fan out of me, so I will be following the podcast religiously. Also, Where does Bruce get the time to do all the things he does? Does he sleep only three hours a day?

Yet another fantastic episode! I'll be headed to Patreon, next because I need you to make more of these. I scored 14, which made me very happy, because I can sort of switch my emotions off, as I've heard psycopaths can. That's likely due to my ADD, and the tendency to dissociate that comes with it. Having said that, I'd be curious to know how high Bruce might score on the diagnostic interview for ADHD in adults. He certainly seems to have the history to suggest that he might do pretty well on that one!

I'm surprised 'soldier' wasn't in the occupation list. Particularly Special Forces where ruthlessness, decisiveness and an ability to kill are valued traits. I'm also surprised at the absence, as Bruce said, of Estate Agents...

I remember, from when I was in grad school, a professor talking about the correlation between those who score very highly on the Meyers Briggs Enterprising scale and psychopathology. Regarding politicians and civil servants, I wonder (and would take an educated guess/hypothesize that there is) a correlation between level/importance of office and psychopathological traits. So, for example lower levels of those traits in local and/or low level office and higher traits in more powerful roles such as leaders of nations.

I've only watched the first 5 minutes. But I was able to work out why the guy killed his sister. What Bruce said about how maybe the sister was with the man, was my first thought. But then I figured it unlikely as it requires the addition of unknown information. Knowing that this is framed from the perspective of a psychopath I figured that she probably just wanted to get the man to reappear by causing another funeral. That being said I don't think I could have worked it out if I wasn't told before hand that psychopathic thinking was involved. I think I'm just good at brain teasers. Edit - Lol, watched a bit more and it a phony test anyway.

I find the language used a bit confusing at times. He says that Bruce is low on the psychopathic spectrum and that he's a good psychopath; which one is it? Also can those positive features be explained as occurring as convergent with some personality types or other tests where there is little to no implication of moral judgment?

It's in context of personality traits, so I think it's just figurative speech. Bruce scores high on boldness, which is one of the many categories associated with psychopathy, hence, "good psychopath." But from this interview it's actually very easy to conclude that he is also a highly empathetic person, so he doesn't really fit the diagnostic criteria in any shape or form. So all of that "I'll never see you in the same light again" is probably just a bit of tongue-in-cheek.

Whatever old mate Bruce is, I dont think he's a psycho. The fella seems to have a giant heart, in fact. He's constantly going that extra step for fans and even strangers, and at his stage of his career he's under no obligation to do so. I just think he enjoys it when folks are happy, and thats definately not a psychopath trait. A perhaps better example of the "Good psychopath" would be the anti nazi partisan in WW2, running about france murdering nazis to free his people. Sure, the partisan is probably a total psycho, but at times in history when psychopaths are winning perhaps the best defence against bad psychopaths are good psyhopaths. (Which is also why nuclear weapons are a very very bad development.)

Yeah, Trump's clearly more on the sociopathic side of things. No remorse, no sense or care of consequences, no empathy for others, sees others mainly as means for personal gain, prone to manipulation and deceit for personal gain, impulsive and aggressive, etc.
