His willingness to jump in front of all of the gamma radiation is what really sells this. He doesn't hesitate to grab his colleague to pull him out of the way. He just does it, no questions asked. And it saves a friend, even if it "creates" a monster within himself. Pure mentality of the situation, no thoughts

I feel like alot of people with past traumas and mental illness can relate greatly to this movie which is why some of us like it so much. I also had issues with my dad, so I felt like Bruce most of the scenes with David
What I really like about this film despite its flaws is how comic accurate it is. Just like issue no. 1 of The Incredible Hulk Bruce Banner gets exposed to gamma Ray's by heroically saving someone from gamma explosion where the 2008 film just rips it from the 70s TV series.
@fabianmoreno5950
Жыл бұрын
Not even that the 70's TV series actually made it's own origin the mcu copied the 1610 comic universe origin where bruce became the hulk because of the super soldier program which in my mind is why hulk and thor are shown as hell as weak but since the mcu is just an amalgation of stories put together as a Frankenstein's monster leaving important things out and not making sense for comic fans who did read the comics

Why do people hate the film? I get if it was the graphics although they were not that bad in my opinion. It is the only film to explore his relationship with his father. The origonal show it as well such as when Hulk dealt with an abusive father and made him get help. It was interesting as Hulk did not just smack him about but had a proper conversation with him to end the cycle of abuse.
@rickymort135

I said the same thing, then I saw Jennifer Connely
The first minute of this clip is actually some damn good cinematography and acting.
What's interesting about this is scene is that while everyone talks about how the gamma exposure awakened the hulk within Bruce because of David Banner's self-experimentation, it's that same self-experimentation that saved Bruce's life. Without Bruce's pre-existing mutation, he would've died. Though David traumatized Bruce, he also indirectly saved his life.

Despite Ang Lee leaving out all the bomb of the adaptation, he proved he's a real Hulk fan by proving that he got the most important aspect of Hulk's origin story: how Bruce selfless act of saving Rick Jones from dying changed the rest of his life completely. That's what made the Hulk a hero from the beginning. (And The Incredible Hulk didn't adapted that aspect so this is automatically superior).
This is the hulk I wanted for the MCU.😔😥
The Hulk is basically a split personality for Bruce, all of his anger, hatred, negative emotions into one big monster. It’s always been there but he hasn’t been able to turn to his split personality because of how Hulk is. The gamma radiation awoke his split personality, giving him the full abilities

This is a brilliant film. Good adaption of the Hulk in general, as the game was also good. There’s no way to make a goofy giant green man Citizen Kane so it’s perfect that it embraces the campy and melodramatic comic book nature of the source material. I love the comic-style editing, it’s a shame its unique to this film. It gives a visual pop. I don’t think the world was ready for it, unfortunately. I would take this ten times out of ten, and then another time again, over the MCU and it’s bastardisation of the Hulk.

In this movie Banner's transformation into the hulk was not only from his own work but also that of his father's.
0:48 CGI , CGI where i CGI?
Just imagine this Hulk was sent to MCU and sees how DISAPPOINTED puny hulk is right after they fight
1:26 😍
What I like is how they showed two scenarios going on at once.
After Ryan's pitch meeting the "good knee bad knee" line makes me laugh every time.
Bruce: "I'm not going to explode, okay?" Me: "Well.. not literally... Metaphorically however...."
#My role model is hulk. I'm loving so much 😘😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Underrated movie
Teacher ,why r u laughing My brain ,mark buffalo 😂
Jennifer Connelly Beautiful !!!
Yo just pull out that power plug, end of story
It’s absolutely a hidden emerald. I get frustrated that it’s completely overlooked compared to similar films like The Dark Knight Trilogy and Logan.

Don’t worry buddy There are a ton of people who aren’t that dumb and can see through a piece of art that only ages like fine wine like Ang Lee’s Masterful first ever adaptation of the Hulk He is an Oscar worthy and owner rightfully director His movies show his tremendous skill

@@jhinabloomingflower807Nick Nolte as David Banner was the worse part of the movie. He was too over the top and his motivation made no sense. Brian Banner from the comics is a better villian with actual motivation for being a bad father and crazed scientist. But the movie is underrated. Good action, music, visuals and good acting from Bana, Elliot and Connelly.

@@petermj1098 I disagree the actor for David banner is a decently great actor You just have different expectations in your mind on how someone should be When in the end it’s just your opinion as this is mine
Damn. Eric Bana has to have been the biggest star in 2003
