Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction I am pretty sure this is it, ps2, xbox, gamecube, I have never played it because my friend put hundreds of hours on it, but it sure was fun to watch, open enough environments with really fun destructive things all over, decent enough leveling system.

My favorite part about this Hulk, is that he only seems to be angry when he's being attacked. When he's just by himself, he seems to be trying to calm down, thinking, remembering things, trying to find himself, etc. A lot different than the green gorilla the MCU gave us.

I’ve always loved this hulk movie, just because I grew up with it, but now that I’m older, I started to realize that it’s almost like he doesn’t want to hurt anyone, he just wants to be left alone, but everyone’s scared of him so they keep attacking so he retaliates, and I love how they depicted that when they show him calm, not running around looking for a fight

Idk if anyone else knows this but 0:56 when he escapes from the chamber, the original stunt man/“actor” for the hulk went through several takes and none were working. So Ang Lee the director put on the green suit/dotted suit and did the motion capture of hulk getting angry. Just an awesome fact to know that a director stepped in to make the scene all the more perfect

This movie does the best depiction of the hulk . Love how the more angry, the bigger he gets to where a normal human is like the height of his knee caps. The speed he can achieve , the brute strength, how high he can jump etc... with better CGI and story this movie could have been even better, but amazing for when it was made.

Honestly, I laughed so hard when I first saw this and again when I saw it 16 years later. The "uh oh, I'm dead" look as the shell bounces off of hulk, his flailing limbs air pose, the screen, the comical outline of him as he's overtaken by the explosion. It is unintentional comedic gold.

@@BananaHoovyJ.Rabbit yes, it’s a matter of comparison, but you must still have in mind it’s considering the year in which both movies came out, for 2003 those effects are better than 2022’s because there was a larger variety of limitations and factors that came into play, while in the modern day, Marvel and Disney have already evolved from those limitations and have adapted to those factors, while still presenting issues when they literally got less limitations than back in the 2000’s.

i like how this showcases how having actual super strength would allow you to run and jump extremely fast as well

Even without the dated CGI, the choice of putting floating camera shots over the main shots makes this feel like an early 00s video game cutscene.

That's amazing detail where the water starts to leak out of the container as Hulk grows inside it. Water is pretty much incompressible, so this is exactly what would happen if something inside of a container were to expand, and that thing was also incompressible. The container would have to break in order for the water to have somewhere to go.

It was ahead from its time like Sam Raimi's Spiderman which looks weird and campy at first, but for a comic book movie like Hulk, it works well. Props to Ang Lee.

@@MarvelFan1995 In the comics Hulk did beat Thanos while not wearing the Infinity Gauntlet several times, this is why Thanos generally avoids confrontations with Hulk.

This movie holds true to the Hulk comics which means Hulk has something called adrenaline feedback - further explained it means Hulk grows in size and strength the more angry he gets up to a point where he becomes completely unstoppable to anyone and anything.

This Hulk would destroy The MCU version

@@captchaos83 I liked the growing as he got angrier. It's an easy way for the film to convey he's getting stronger. It would be better if they could think of a clever way to portray this though. The 2008 film had Hulk stomp Abomination after he saw Betty struggling, so he clearly got stronger there, but it seems difficult to capture his power growing like that during an entire fight, not just in a plot moment.

I used to hate this movie… but now that I’m older I’ve grown a new found appreciation for how ambitious it was

I get tired of people not liking the CGI in this movie, 0:53 is the prime example of why it was great for the time this movie was made

I think with all this current Hulk bullshit everyone has forgotten the original Hulk..........The Best Hulk The Lou Ferigno Hulk The hulk of today doesn't even look mean, he's somewhat pretty the original hulk was fucking scary

@@manuelchaden6410 I really don't know why he compared it to those that upset me alot this movie was an art piece even though this movie was the entire introduction of banner life it was good part 2 was never made because of the critics and people don't see the art.

Best thing about this version is that he gets bigger and stronger with anger , unlike latest movies

The MCU Hulk is far more powerful than this one to be fair, but still one of the best Incarnations of Hulk.

@@griimrose I don't like the MCU version either. This really was the best hulk, maybe Norton was better. The much makes him look like a joke. Norton's was scary. This one was one you could empathize with. I'm a marvel fan but the hulk was certainly a weak point of that franchise imo. Only movie he really worked in was Ragnarok imo

@@hayden6759 He means for the hulk. The way this one moves us very realistic. The muscle physics his pants the subtle fat that moves. All that movement I'd there for a film from 2003.

I love how the editing looks like comic book panels. At first i found it funny then it really grew on me

2:25 watching this when I was 5 years old, still made me laugh xD and at 25 I still believe it's the funniest death in Marvel

I just realize, hulk never killed someone on this movies, he just defense himself

Finally someone noticed for so long I thought I was the only one. Also Fun fact: Bruce gains conscious and control in his third transformation in the secret military base while 2011 mcu banner had to meditate to control hulk

For me this is the best adaptation of the hulk story. I did see an early cut, where they used much more of these comic book design take overs and I loved it. Unfortunately this didn’t make it into the final cut.

This was my favorite movie as a kid never gets old

someone went crazy with the PowerPoint transitions and that death lol

Now watching this again after many years, I realize how much i love how this movie frames it's scenes like a Comic. With transitions that act like comic panels, really ads a nice touch!

When my family would drive on the highway as a kid I would picture him doing the running and jumping to keep up with us haha

The comic book style they used in this movie is so awesome, with the panels and stuff. Really nailed it.

The fact that he figured out where they were so quickly shows ho smart he really and i always loves that part when I was a kid

That neck brace is just the perfect icing on the cake. It makes him look like such a tool

I actually like the Hulk movie. I love the design of this Hulk and I like how they use comic book panels in the movie. I think it would be cool if they used comic book panel effects in other superhero movies.

I love this movie, I always liked the idea of ​​these frames on the screen, it reminds me a lot of the comics
