About the Mod:
MK1212 Campaign Open Alpha:
It's been over 5 years in the making across 2 games, but the Medieval Kingdoms 1212 campaign is finally available to all! Our Open Alpha phase starts today. The campaign as it stands is obviously in an incomplete state, missing technologies, naval units, and mercenaries, though we have plans to add much content in the near future. It currently includes 57 playable factions and various scripted mechanics, such as population and a pope system. The campaign release is also accompanied by a great deal of new content in the form of new factions and units, as well as revamped rosters for preexisting factions.
Campaign Features:
57 playable campaign factions.
Completely custom building chains.
Single region provinces, where every region on the map has 6 slots.
Over 4,000 beautifully modeled and period-accurate units (
Optional music mod.
Optional UI sound effect replacement mod
Three Tier Unit Upgrade System based on the three centuries this mod covers (13th, 14th, and 15th Century)
10 Building Slots per Settlement: No longer your cities be limited to 6 or 4 buildings.

*Jerusalem:* "Hey Antioch" *Antioch:* What?" *Jerusalem:* "I'm the better crusader state" *Antioch:* *Deus Vult Intensifies* and don't forget the algorithm demands sacrifices if you're enjoying the campaign!

Hello friend. good game, and good battles too. just a suggestion or two if I may: first: a small hint: I think you know this, but if you want to recruit more of these millitary order units (templars, hospitellars,......): you need to build more of the religion building called ''military order priory'', because those elite order units are capped to the number of ''military order priories'' that you have, also the ''military order priory'' is the only building that allows you to recruit the Teutonic order knights (probably you should have one of these ''military order priories'' in the city of Cairo, because there you can have the bonus for your recruited cavalry). second: a fun idea: I think what the city of Jerusalem needs now is a ''tavern'', so Jerusalem can become a center for recruitment of agents (priests, spies, assassins), also, when you upgrade your church in Jerusalem, you can negate the religious debuffs of the tavern. third: I think you should avoid fighting the Abbassid Caliphate now if you can, and try to expand south of Egypt (south of the city of Cairo): those cities south of Cairo are isolated and far from danger and easily defendable, but also allow you to attack the Ayyubids from the sea and avoid going all the way through the desert. and finally, good luck.
