Brooklyn Skyscrapers & Bridges Over Wawayanda
Film shows members of the Brooklyn Skyscrapers FF Club making retrieval bridges for the wide canal at the beautiful flying field in Wawayanda. Shows what teamwork by a group of wingmen can accomplish. Special thanks to Yuda for the flatbed and bringing the supplies! Thanks always to Andrew Barron for our access to this incredible flying space. Film & photos by Tom Hallman & Adam Schlosberg. Music by the artists at ArtList.io.

A beautiful example of life wingmen. Congratulations👏👏👍🍻
Nice
Thank you for sharing....team work of fun and good cause for all.
Great to have an insight into the work of the local Wayawanda farming community. This Schweizer 31" certainly copes with a bit of a wind there, and that winch is rewarding the effort you put into the R&D.. Reel control.. You see what I did there Tom? 🤣🌟👍
What a lovely spot, i must find time to get there
I was a member 67 through 69 while stationed at Merchant Maine Academy. Great Club as we're the Detroit Balsa Bugs ND the oldest IMAC
Of all the building and trimming videos, yours are by far the best in all aspects. I was a modeler most of my life but I stopped competing in sailplanes when worsening vision reduced my sphere of competition, then I had to give up other modeling because of bad, bad knees. Now at 89 with two new knees, I can enjoy a lot of modeling pleasure by standing in the field with you watching your models fly. And I do not have to walk to go retrieve them. Thank you for the beautiful video, music, and peaceful imagery.

You all are beautiful!! BRAVO!
Wonderful ! So nice !
is that your old mates?
Wood in contact with soil will rot. Treating with a wood preservative might help. Better would be to support the ends on concrete.
