Dragon boy build. No seriously. Nobody has made a build video for his crazy potentials and relentless damage. Idk if streamers are just being considerate and embargo themselves, but we have enough Narmaya build in KZread algorithm.

Nice guide but I am gonna put some info here for other Vane mains that I feel this video missed: - Vane's DPS comes from his combo finisher specifically, you can use it after every skill and link attack, thus: - run two Cascade V sigils to get your skills off CD faster and - run his unique sigil Hero's Will which reduces CDs by 3% per combo finisher - use his Sq, Sq, Tr, Tr combo exclusively, this is the combo finisher does multiple hits and the hero's will sigil reduces his CDs PER HIT - this will make his skills come off CD so fast and you combo finisher off every skill which makes your skills comes back faster and so the loop goes on - Energy Destruction is your highest DPS skill even at 0% SBA gauge and should be used on CD, no matter what percentage your gauge is. That is because your CD time will ensure you use it multiple times per 100% bar, sometimes up to 3 times. NEVER SAVE IT FOR 100%. At true end game it will be smacking monsters for 500k - 1.5m damage per hit. - Building Vane this way will will also ensure your Rampart skill is off CD for every single Bloodthirst phase - the full beat down gauge combo is a trap often resulting in a dps loss, a lot of the time it's better to use a skill and combo finisher. For example if you are mid beat down combo and energy destruction comes off cooldown, it's better to break your beat down combo and use energy destruction and combo finisher straight away. The pay off for the beatdown combo is a trap To summarise, the best way to build Vane is to minimise his skill CDs, to execute the maximum amount of Combo Finishers off skills Use sq, sq, tr, tri to maximise use of heros will sigil Use energy destruction on cd every time, its a dps gain even at 0% sba and can be used up to 3 times per sba when your cds comes back so quickly The full beatdown combo is a trap Any questions, give me a shout

Vane was my first unlock and I don't regret it. Dude is insane when it comes to being all up in a bosses face and I get a high every time I use rampart to avoid a team wipe.

Id love to see a Ferry video. Vane is my main with Ferry being my second favorite character so far. There doesnt seem to be any Ferry vids out there right now. Thanks for all the content

I'm glad a CC I watch often just dropped this vid 👍 Keep up the good work, dude. I'm wondering if Vane should have Improved Guard because I notice whenever I block with his triangle/Y attacks, his block is at red often. So soon afterwards, if I was to try to perfect block naturally and fail, my block would've broken. Would love a Siegfried guide as well! I keep thinking Draconic Release is really strong but maybe I'm missing something. Like maybe there's an ATK buff cap? I know you've informed us that there's a DMG cap. Thank you!

Heads up: best to not pop your SBA till after your get your Link Time becuase your SBA fully charges it. So Link time - > SBA -> another link time for insaine damage!

This is good, a lot of proud missions, you have to do this to optimize damage, especially the last 3 in proud rank. However, it isn't bad either to use it during overdrive to hopefully break bosses out of their overdrive and skip their bloodthirsty (big mechanic of bosses) mode. Both options are good though.

@@naser5545 Which is why even though it's not as popular, but I run my whole team with Linked Together, to pump out Link Time as fast as possible. The DPS you geet from linked time is just too good.

You literally are running the exact team I run. The three knights and Cag. Although I want to build up Seigfried as well and swap him in once in a while. Its funny my 4 favorite characters are the 4 knights from the White Dragons lol.

Just little detail at the showcase in the end. You were at 85% link when you cast the SBA, should have waited to use the 100% because SBAs will fill you back up at 100% just after

Do you have any build tips for nirmaya at proud difficulty?

If you time your Triangle attacks properly, can you perfect guard using Triangle attacks?

Just a thing about energy destruction that the video does not touch on. All abilities have their own damage cap, energy destruction ends up being super valuable damage wise as late game you'll be hitting the cap/close to the cap regardless of how full or empty your SBA gauge is.

Vane main here with note, his Awakening sigil gives him the 3% skill cooldown, 30% damage cap. Free pick for the damage cap.

Great vid just finished it! One thing I would like mention: Drachenstolz and breakthrough are great buff slots but Energy destruction is actually a great offence move to keep in the roaster, I say this because keep in mind DMG cap gets easy to reach the closer you heavily invest/max out vane. Using a good amount DMG CAP V sigils, I can cap my damage without any buffs. Even with no SBA gauge its hitting over 400k at the moment as well, then pair that with his signature sigil constantly lowering the cooldown of his skills (combo string: x2 normal then mash finisher is best for this, procs multiple -3% in the one hit) you can pull it off almost every other rotation which feels great! Yoda has to be next right?

Just finished the last proud boss in the game. Can confirm, Vane scales extremely well. My only real change would be to remove the spin vacuum for his broken af team defensive utility. Not only to help people catch a break, but even for yourself. Hes such a ridiculous character. 10/10, recommend to anyone.

The only thing he is missing from his 5* kit is substitute otherwise he is the same powerhouse as in the mobile game

I unlocked Vane first because he seemed like a good tank and Holy crap was I right. He can just stick on bosses and never stop hitting them while also never dying.

I like this build, and I went ahead and tried it, and the damage output is better than anything I was running, but I can't survive anything. Running this build on proud, my first mission I failed, and I (Vane) was the only character who died during the whole fight. I must've been dropped like 8+ times or so. The damage output seems very solid, I was definitely eating their health bars up. However, I was getting smacked around and downed in 1-2 hits in some cases. It just seems to lack any survivability for a tank character. Just my thoughts.

Need a build for Id 🙏🏻

Will Narmaya be good as AI companion? I'm wondering if the AI will be able to do the rotation correctly

Additional tip: I already posted this on @ryanrichards4901's reply, but I'm just gonna copy-paste it here so more people can see it. Please read his tips first for some context. Each proc from supplemental damage sigil counts as one damage instance, so you can increase the combo finisher hits from his sq, sq, tr, tr attack to further reduce his skill cooldowns. For the test I did, I have: Max cascade Lvl 16 quick cooldown and his unique sigil Without supplementary damage, my rampart cooldown resets after 7 full cycles of sq, sq, tr, tr combo With 100% supp dmg, the skill cd resets after 4 cycles Results may vary when you don't have max supp dmg (because the chance to proc it scales with the trait level and the max is lvl 45), and most likely you won't because there are not enough sigil slots, and they are hard to obtain (from curios). You must prioritize war elemental, dmg cap, cascade, quick cooldown (doesn't have to be max), crits and his unique sigil before the supp dmg. Only use supp dmg sigils when your dmg is capping. Most of you may know this already, but to know when your damage is actually capping, two sparkles will appear behind the damage number. It's a subtle detail but you can tell when you see thin horizontal lines appearing behind the numbers. For endgame, cascade and quick cooldown must be secondary traits because their sigils can't have additional traits (V+). Uplift and potion hoarder (must be secondary traits too) are also useful in high-level raids. Hope this helps

You do not need your ultimate gauge to be full for energy destruction. You hit damage cap with his big hit long before then even with max dmg cap. It is his best skill. His damage buffs are garbage due to the same reason of damage cap. Rift divider being completely slow is bad for bosses but decent for certain add clear content but normal combo is just better. Extremely strong character, easily powers through proud, just sadly due to mechanics only has 4 useful abilities. However it is technically an upside since you don't have to worry about too much more. Best combo are 2 lights into heavy combo for the multi-hit leap spin. When 100% link attack is triggered block then do full beatdown so you don't waste time for the leap after link attack. Also if the boss is about to land or lose bloodthirst armor pre-emp the energy destruction.

Please make ID build

Use berserk sigil for more attack!!!

Tbh The best tank SHOULD be a very powerful offensive character! that's good game design! I'm tired of only mages and rogues dealing high damage, we need more games that let the warriors shine, it's not fun to sit around being a damage sponge and feeling like that's your only big contribution to the team.

Yeah vanes solid. Now back to the Terminus weapon grind. The drop rate is pretty terrible.

While Vane is kind of cool it doesn’t really matter having a “tank” in the game i do pretty good with Siegfried once you max out your character maniac is a joke.

Just one thing...., can he do good as a NPC?

you can do either. I've been playing mostly solo with AI companions, but you can play with up to 4 people like in MH

For Rift Divider, just use the skill right before using your SBA. You'll have enough time to use it, regardless if you're using it with online players, since you can just use the skill while other players are bursting. The only downside of the skill is that it's not "on demand" since you can only make the most of it with full SBA, but that's the tradeoff for power.

Day 7 for waiting on a narmaya build. Others I wouldn't mind are Id and Charlotta

not every character is going to need it at 65 (max level) but it takes some testing. I'll be doing a proper video on it soon. Hopefully I can address how much damage cap you may need on each character on average
