Always best to be able to rest even when a storm is coming. That’s why it’s good to take care of things when it happens. This just reminds me of a story I heard when I was a kid about a farmer’s helper and how there was a big storm coming and this helper was sleeping even though everyone else was worried. It’s because he knew he did everything he could and was ready for the storm. Have a great weekend.

Hey there Tyler, I hope this finds you well? 🙏 Turn both mounting bolts up, so all the weight is not on the bottom pin. If you're afraid of the cows lifting the gate up and off the pins, just put a little strap on top of the pin. (s) With the plywood there's really no way a cow could lift it, other than getting their head under the bottom, however it doesn't look like there's enough room for that, but if there is, that's easily corrected. If you think the wind contributed to the damage, a drill and a hole saw would help with that problem. I hope y'all have a good one! 👍 "Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇲

The cows are going to trample the ground around the salt block. Don’t waste the grass and damage a circle around it. Put salt in the trees.use the cows to stomp around where you can’t mow. Feed hay between trees and clean up the wooded areas. I increased my pasture by three acres of grass feeding in the trees and not on already established grass. It only takes a little bit of time to work high traffic area in the edge and keep improving the edge of the woods and expand the grass

If you rotate the saddle bracket that has the latch pin on it to match the angle of the latch, it will work just like it's supposed to. (as long as there's enough room to rotate it and still use the clamping bolts on it.)

Hello Tyler, even though i only have horse, i have always put 3 hinges on my 14ft gates, it save the 6x6 post from leaning, much easier to open up and close, a little higher to use when the horse is zomming around, throwing dirt and when we get a heavy snow load..no maintenance so far it has been a few years, the double 14 ft gates are open all the time, for loading in grain and hay, trailers, farriers truck, bedding....very easy opening on this older gal...i hate to see gates sagging ...

Seeing several comments about why the top hinge is facing down. Here in my part of the country we do the same thing. First reason; keeps the cows from picking up the gate and taking it off the hinges second: keeps PEOPLE from taking tne gate off the hinges! especially during HUNTING season!

Have you thought about building a tool trailer? Something you could move with your 4 wheeler or side by side. Or even a small road worthy trailer to pull with your pickup, 4 wheeler and side by side. As well as your tractor. Could save you a lot of time. All your tools in 1 spot. Recommend storing it inside so as to protect your tools. Probably only feasible if you use fit it near your garage work area to. Thoughts?

Hi Mr.Tyler, my two penny worth thought: You have wide gaps where it shouldn't be (hay wagon) and you do not have gaps (hole) where ideally there should be one (the gate). Just drill a few holes on the plywood which will significantly reduce the wind pressure.
