I was blown away by this performance of all three, but at 5:56 when they are singing their parts over each other, took my breath away, WOW & OMG!
WOW AGAIN! I HAVE WATCHED THIS VIDEO 30 TIMES! BREATHTAKING EACH TIME! EACH SINGER- AUDRA M., MARIN MAZZI, AND JUDY KUHN IS AMAZING IN VOCAL ABILITY, STAGE PRESENCE AND BEAUTY! NO AMERICAN IDOL HERE! THIS IS REAL MUSIC- SUNG WITH GREATLY TALENTED DIVAS! BRAVO! THIS IS A GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!! I WISH THE CURRENT GENERATION WOULD SEE THIS EVEN ONCE!!

Aside from the beautiful singing, which can't get much better, the arranger deserves a prize. These ladies are such professionals and clearly left their egos at the door. Perfect symmetry to make this work so perfectly. Great job by all three ladies. We'relucky to have them !!! The poor kids who think American Idol is the end all and that screaming makes you better. The sad audiences who get hysterical over mediocrity.
And I thought I was going to be hearing some simple medly of some great Broadway tunes... Dear God, this was the most incredible blending of three songs, three voices..... just p ure magic. Ive never heard anything like this in my life. Wish I could figure out a way to get it on my Ipod. I'd listen to it constantly.

I was looking for As Time Goes by, then I saw Audra's version. I didn't know her yet (shame on me) so I browsed for more of her and landed on this video. The three of them are so great, but in this video, I think Audra is the best. Now she's got a new fan in me.

Oddly enough, the woman who sings "I Don't Know How to Love Him" is the voice of Pocahontas in the movie. Marin Mazzie sings "Unexpected Song." She's incredible too.

Judy Kuhn was the singing voice of Pocahontas.
I recently saw Melissa Errico, Jodi Benson and Marc Kudisch attempt to recreate this number in concert...and they failed miserably. MK took on Audra McDonald's part, and it simply did not work with two women and a man singing this trio.
They weren't drab for 1998.
Audra sounds great, but I don't like how she cuts the high notes short at the beginning. She makes it sound like she's straining though I don't think she is. They sound incredible together!!
What the Hell
None of these fantastic singers are singing songs from A CHORUS LINE. They are all ALW: "Love Changes Everything" from ASPECTS OF LOVE, "Unexpected Song" from SONG AND DANCE, and "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.
WOW! MAYBE SOME TEENIES WOULD LIKE THESE DIVAS BETTER THAN LADY GA GA GA GA!
That's understandable.But Judy and Marin do sound semilar.
