This lady is a national treasure

I’ll never forget the time I was walking through a quiet street in Kensington years ago after a really stressful day and saw a woman walking towards me, she stopped, delicately placed a flower between her fingers and smelled it, taking in its beauty, then proceeded to walk past me with a smile on her face. The woman was of course our beautiful Annie, I’ll forever treasure that moment ❤️

That's an old video? About 8 - 10 years, I think. I remember watching her sing this song on Jools's show a fair while back. Friggin' awesome tho!

@@supercededman It's old, but she's still a powerhouse. Her voice is still clear as a bell and deep like the ocean at 67. Sadly she rarely performs these days, one of the greatest female vocalists of all time.

My most FAVORITE Annie Lennox song of all time!

The arrangement is magnificent. There are few performers this accomplished and polished....

My aunt bought me tickets to “a conversation with Annie Lennox” and what a story she told! But the second half of the show, and quite unexpectedly considering it was a “conversation”, Annie sang her biggest hits. My aunt died 6 months later. I won’t ever forget this. I love you Annie. I love you Laura. X

possibly the greatest female singer/songwriter of all time name one better here in 2024 annie lennox still as good as any that ever been as a kid i remember the eurythmics rocked & 40 years later still as good as she was in the 80s

can tell this song really meant something to her. You can see it emanate from that performance. She knew it was banger (still is). Timeless hit.

This sounds so well mixed and rich, just marvelous!

Scottish national treasure that is Annie

Not many can touch this woman. I feel so blessed that I was able to see her in a small venue twice in my lifetime. She is a force and an on believable talent. I love her! Thank you for posting this. 💜
