What a range... What soulfulness... Simply stunning...
Easily one of the best records this year. Truly a gem Was anticipating a Shakes album but I’m overjoyed with Brittany’s new release. We need this music.

Three years ago a friend rang me up and asked if I wanted to see Alabama Shakes. I had recently bought "Sound & Colour" had become a fan. So we went to the Brixton Academy, a famous music venue in South London. We are both in our late 6os, and he said we must have raised the average age by 20 years! I was blown away. Brittany is one of the best live performers I have seen, and this just adds to that. She must be one of the best singer/songwriters around at the moment. I have this album, and each of the live performances I have seen on KZread is as good as the version on "Jaime". The video is a real work of art, and she got Terry Crews to star in it! This young woman is going to be a real star.

I saw the Shakes in 2013 at Bottle Rock in Napa. She was absolutely the most energetic performer I've ever seen. I didn't know it was possible for one person to give that much away. Brittany is going to have a very long and astounding career. We're watching an icon in the making.

I saw her live also during that tour. To me there is a real growth in the mastery of her voice put on display with these newer performances... she had passion in spades and raw talent before, but now she seems to take her voice to interesting, seemingly deliberate places throughout these performances. Once you're at that place you can pretty much consistently outdo an album performance, all you have to do is turn it up a bit. She clearly is having fun with and very self aware of how good she is now. Hopefully I don't draw too much criticism, but what she does with her voice most recently reminds me of Amy Winehouse at her peak.
This woman is a mood 🙌 , she gives me body chills everytime she sings. ❤❤❤❤
Voice like silk, man. This new record brings me so much joy.
I fell in love with Alabama Shakes a few years ago and am so excited Brittany is doing her own album! 😍

Her voice 😲 I searched for a live performance to see if this was just her voice and it is.....it's sounds like she's in the studio. It's got this thing about it. I can't put my finger on one thing. But it's smooth, relaxing, unique and just pure gold. Wow!
If Etta James and Smokey Robinson had a love child...

Yes she does. I just scrolled upon her today.
Damn, I've got the chills from watching her emote and breeze through those vocal acrobatics. This song is also magic to the ears, instrumentation and all.
Weeping at this record. It’s just breathtaking.....
I saw this for the first time 1/1/2020. I was floored! From the first time I saw her on Letterman, years ago, I knew her and the "Shakes," were going to be SMOKING HOT! My GOD! My chest has still got the butterflies, from last night. Makes me feel like when I was 17, playing some and singing some Soul and Motown with my black friends, in their bands. I just don't know what to say. I pray she's around forever! A tender, pure soul that delivers soulful songs like that, will keep the peace and, keep us all smiling. Let's pray, no one tries to corrupt this SOUL GODDESS! I'm a 62 year old, Italian white man, who loves soul and Motown> I hope that I don't insult anyone by saying this but, I think my favorite soul man Marvin Gay is smiling down on her!
Damn, this is better than the album version. Impeccable. And I don't think I've ever seen Brittany so free and enjoying herself so much on stage.
Loved that voice since I first heard Alabama Shakes...gdamn she's got some pipes
I prefer this live version over the recorded because her voice is so strong here!! Love it 😍
*Great Voice and she's a guitarist too, OMG!*

Loving this live performance even more than the studio recording. That atmosphere they create is so warm and touching. Could listen to this for hours on end. Just hoping that I'll get to see them somewhere live once this current situation is over for the better.
I never heard of her before, but she has an old Motown sound. Amazing!! 💗
First time hearing her. She gave me goosebumps. Great song and amazing vocals. 👏💖
one of those musicians who sound even better live than on the recording...so much soul
This was my first time seeing or hearing about her! Sorry for being late but I'm a fan now

The next legend is upon us. Absolutely amazing 👏
This is an amazing song and a MASTERFUL PERFORMANCE!!
I saw her on September 20th in Chicago and she was absolutely amazing live. Her voice stands out even with all the instruments. Check out her new song she only performs in shows (not on the album sadly) called Bring Your Love To Me. It’s amazing and I need a recorded version of it badly
Amazing voice!
I listen to the studio version all the time but something about this performance always makes me cry. This song is so beautiful and full of hope and her voice is magnificent ❤️ i can't help but cry
Wow! Loving her voice!

One of my favourite singers of this generation. Such raw magnetic talent.
Alabama Shakes is her rock band. Here, she bares her soul. It's classic revisited.
I love this song so much 💕💕💕🌞🌞🌞
It's amazing when a song sounds as good if not better performed live. True talent
Such a pure glorious voice 👑

I love you, Brittany! I could listen to this song on a 10 hour replay! Brava!!!
This was a revelation. I was vaguely familiar with B.H. but now I’m blown away by her passion and presence; she’s a force of nature and this is one of the most exceptional “live” performances that I’ve seen in a long time. The perfect ending to an all around great late night w the sanity sustainer that is Colbert!
Amazing ❤
She is fantastic!
Daaaaamn. This was a whole experience! Definitely gonna check out the album.
I missed that sound. That old school R&B sound
