I don’t think you need to justify giving Angelina high scores because she’s so young. She is without any reservation the best singer I’ve ever heard. We have come to expect to be blown away by each performance, and that’s usually what happens. I have never heard any singer of any age cover so many genres so authentically, originally, and beautifully. Angelina is truly once in a lifetime.

Angelina paying tribute to God as well as Elvis, as there is little doubt it was his version she studied for this remarkable performance.

Hey Andy. Hope all is well with you. I agree that she is paying tribute to Elvis, as she does in each of her Elvis covers---same key and same tempo, so she is definitely performing his version. But she takes a very different approach on the chorus. Elvis, like almost everyone that has covered this classic song, chooses to belt the chorus. And I absolutely Love her version; makes me cry every time. Of course, she could easily belt it, but she makes a creative decision not to. As always, Angelina is in charge of her performances. Same key (Bb Major) and register as Elvis on his 1965 album of hymns "How Great Thou Art". The lowest note Angelina sings is C3, one octave below middle C on a piano. Simply astounding!

Gentlemen were scared this time! Angelina is gifted in all musical abilities, now they realize that her vocal range is a serious thing. She goes from Alto notes to Soprano notes with ease. She is a very flexible and talented meso-soprano.

Since an even younger age she has had the ability to sing in a low register. She just doesn't use it very often. This is superb.

This is insane!!! Try to sing along with her... it's nearly impossible to reach these low notes! And she's a girl of 12 years!

Even in that low register their is no distortion. Just perfect. Nobody else, any age, would be able to do this so low and throw in the vibrato like it was nothing.

No, it's not wrong. You picked the right one (the only one of Angelina singing this, as far as I know). This is a traditional Christian hymn which came about in the early 1900's, was translated and revised a couple of times, then was made world famous by baritone soloist George Beverly Shea who was Evangelist Billy Graham's soloist during the Billy Graham Crusades. It became his signature song during the times of Graham's evangelistic tours. It became a standard inclusion in most Christian hymnbooks, both Protestant and Catholic. Elvis Presley often did an outstandlingly powerful version of it during many of his performances in the 1970's -- something you may consider reacting to! By the way, Angelina is singing it in the SAME key as Elvis did! Incredible!

Well there we go. As usual, phenomenon talent, great voice (albeit a surprisingly low tone), and all round appreciation for this young lady. But also as usual, I'm a bit meh. I recognise all that is fabulous about her, though, and think she deserves every bit of recognition and more. 🙂

Angelina has often dedicated songs to artists she loves. She is singing this in the same key as Elvis, as a statement to Elvis' singing .. or perhaps even, Elvis' Spirit? Before I knew that and heard it n i couldn't quite understand why she was singing so low .. but then heard about it being the same key as Elvis .. and I have seen it again and again now and have such respect for her dedications and honoring of our past singing stars. I also truly loved how they put it together with the incredible visuals of our beautiful planet.

Every song I have heard from Angelina starting 4 years ago has stunned me although over time I've gotten used to expecting the best. But this one floored me. I find it interesting that her father is Swedish, where the song comes from…

one way to judge her age is by the microphone, she got the microphone she is using on her 12th birthday and mostly used it until she signed with Republic.

Yes its nice/good for the Artist to find her original covers **where possible** on her channels. The thing is many of performances we're removed from her channels for whatever reason and the only copies that exist are the ones her fans preserved on their Channels. Even something wonderful like her more recent 2022 My funny Valentine poof (after a month or so). Oddly her lovely 2016 performance of the same is still available. In short thanks for trying.

As mentioned in the video description, the recording of Angelina singing "How Great Thou Art" was originally published on the "Mosarz" channel kzread.info/dron/hM_lpT4shdnsez93QMJPig.html in late December 2019 with a "Happy New Year" greeting from Angelina, but it was removed just a few days later and never re-released on any of the channels run by Angelina and her team. I have used that original publication and applied a green screen background displaying these nature scenes.

The way she rocked through this one was completely jaw dropping. Really well worth the reaction. Id love to get your collective reactions to this one. Back to check, yup, better yet on 980th hearing as it was on first. Unbelievable. Tell someone who hasn't heard her that there is a singer who can record a performance of Whitney's "I Have Nothing" and Elvis's "How Great Thou Art" both in the same year, both performances at least as beautiful technically and emotionally as the originals they would look at you askance. Then say that both times the songs were sung in the same key as the original performers they would scoff, ask to see proof. THEN say that the new performer is a 12 years old girl ...

Being a huge fan of Elvis, Angelina has covered him several times (6 or 7). She always chooses to sing his songs in the same key that he does. Since he is a tenor/baritone, that sometimes ends up being very low for a female singer. And even more so for a 12 year old female. Here's another brief example of her singing down low on an Elvis cover (original by Jim Reeves in 1962). But as she becomes an adult her control and technique on the vocal extremes will get better and better. I can already see/hear that on her performances at 15 and 16. Her recent performance of "My Funny Valentine" kzread.info/dash/bejne/lIudrrGneK2_qMo.html shows her remarkable control and technique more than any that she has done (IMO). And her tone/timbre is absolutely Amazing!! A testament to the fact that she is getting better and better with each passing day. Love you guys. 😊😊

The original post she made of this was pulled. Would a copyright match but no block be sufficient to make her do that? I doubt it. The only other reason seems to be that she felt it didn’t quite work according to her expectations of it. Trying the same key as artists like Elvis is quite a stretch for a young 12yo, and maybe confirms that she will transition ultimately into the contralto female range. Time will tell.

Thanks again for doing a little research on the song. It was sung in many churches when I was a child, don't know if they still do since I am not a church goer. It was one of Elvis' go to songs. Some of Elvis' biggest selling albums were gospel songs and Angelina did do his version, maybe in the same key. BP2...a little disappointed that you allowed yourself to be talked into a 10 when I could tell you were going to a 9.7, LOL. Great fun as usual guys!

One of my AJ favorites because it is a beautiful song done to perfection in a low tone like Elvis proving once again she can see anything. This song was done by Elvis Presley. Many don't know that before he became the 'King Of Rock N' Roll' he sang gospel, and even he doesn't hold this low register for as long as Angelina does it here as a child. Simply put, she is the most versatile singer of different genres that has ever appeared on this planet. Definitely extraordinary, especially for a young girl.

Good morning Gentlemen! So we stuck around for this one by Miss Jordan. My Great Grandma, a Lutheran, sang this to us in Swedish and English, among other songs to us so I figured I'd give it a go. The original video was on Angelina’s grandmother’s channel, as a New Year greeting to her fans. For some reason it was pulled after only a few days, but I know of 3 reactors who caught it and reacted to it at the time. One, “TrickyRicky”, played the song through without any interruptions (those were the days!), and I wonder if “Yozhik v Tumane” used his excellent audio, or had managed to download his own. Anyway, he set pictures to the song (about 50% from Norway, according to him). Don’t know that I care for the skydivers, but that’s just me. Yozhik did a great job! Oh, check out Elvis’s version ..
