Yeah but we still won't buy them. The people who care about the latest tech and all the best composite stocks buy weatherby's here. Everybody else buys like pre 64 Winchester Model 70s, lever guns, old Remington Model 700s... Actually come to think but most of us just buy semi-automatic junk or really expensive Semi-automatics... That are absolutely useless for hunting. Because the number of hunters are decreasing, and the number of gun morons are growing

As an American, I’m delighted to see that the UK and Europe as a whole focus more on competitive shooting and hunting rather the USA which is all redundant AR/SMG crap as though our population is going to warm or resides in a war zone. The difference and message is significantly different

Yeah, shooting here generally is for a specific purpose, we are licenced based on the purpose. Home defence is not a valid reason for owning a firearm in the UK.

@@jjames2162 I enjoy the sport and these videos to get away from politics. That being said I believe in our constitution and the protections that lie within it. They were put there by our founding fathers for a reason . The 2nd amendment is there to protect all the others and if you don’t understand that… Well then that’s a shame on you.
@jjames2162

@@FumiTheKitten it would behoove you to not lecture me about something you clearly don’t understand and haven’t thought about. Employ some objectivity. The NRA has done more harm than good. The 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with this conversation which clearly you missed in its entirety. This is about culture not about politics. It’s important to be vigilant when it comes to our Rights. That’s not the issue or the discussion. Fan boys like you have to rely on fear - fear of the unknown, fear of losing our rights, fear of minorities, fear of violence, and vile rhetoric. The gun industry would be healthier if the NRA had relied on traditional sportsmanship and competitive shooting for its messaging instead of the marketing BS you are promoting here. You understand less about your own culture than the author of this video and can’t admit the short comings because you tie the culture to gun ownership. Being American is about a lot more than the 2nd Amendment. If that’s all it means to you, then that’s not much. Edit as I was being too derogatory which isn’t helpful or necessary. My apologies

Hello, what do you recommend from the Turkish weapons bokflint for hunting and stand?
Hey Lloyd, I enjoyed your coverage of the British shooting show… When you visited the Highland Outdoors booth, one of the shotguns that you really liked was the “Pro Comp Metal”. I agree with your assessment of that gun, because for the price point how can you get all of those features for a fully adjustable shotgun! My question to you is who is the manufacture of that shotgun and do you think that gun will be available for distributors in the USA?
@lloydyp
Жыл бұрын
It’s made in turkey, you would need to contact the distributor to see if you can get one in the US.

Hi Lloyd hope all is well. Would you happen to know the weight of the sl2? Also what do you think would be the price point of the standard sporting sl2?

@@lloydyp Should've expected that with the introduction of 15-minute cities in the UK. Your government definitely doesn't want the the subjects of the crown to travel. But maybe some Americans might extend a paid invitation someday.
You can have opticrap mounts, singularly the worst most unstable mounts I have ever witnessed... used on both tikka and sako and they just always loosen and shift.

As an American, I’m delighted to see that the UK and Europe as a whole focus more on competitive shooting and hunting rather the USA which is all redundant AR/SMG crap as though our population is going to war or resides in a war zone. The difference and message is significantly illustrative of what is valued and whether or not fear is a marketing tool. In the USA it’s all about marketing fear under the guise of protection. Which is a major mistake but it sells products. Our culture is so immersed in fantasy war it’s unhealthy and delusional. If our society celebrated traditional competition and hunting like we used to, there wouldn’t be such enormous division. Instead we get all these wannabe military knobs dressed up like they are going to Iraq. Playing pretend army at 30 or 40+ years old and indulging unhealthy fantasies of apocalyptic society. Pathetic Too bad Sako out priced themselves on the Explorer. It’s a good looking rifle. But why would I shed $5k when I can have the Springfield Armory Waypoint for less than half and is likely a better rifle and certainly more accurate

As a fellow American I couldn't agree more. While I whole heartedly believe in the 2nd Ammendment and enjoy the ability to CCW, my most prized firearms by far are my hunting long guns, my shotguns especially. The wannabe commando crowd and the image they portray, in my personal opinion, has done more to damage hunting and make it a target of the anti's than anything else. They see those morons running around and lump us in with them. I also agree with your comments on Sako. That's a steep bump in price from what the 85 went for. For that money, it'd better be lighter. I was so excited with the S20 when it came out. It has fantastic ergonomics and looks real sharp. Unfortunately it ways a ton. Perfect if you're hunting from a blind or stand, not so much if you're stalking, especially over some of the hilly and mountainous terrain like we have here in the southwest and other parts of the U.S. Based on the looks of the action though, seeing as it has an ejection port similar to Tikka, it looks like they at least solved the the ejection issues that were plaguing the 85's. No chance of your brass ejecting upward and hitting your scope and dropping back in to the action.

The video is and hour and 40 mins long, you are going to have to be more specific.
As a old brit now American you can't have a shooting show if the government makes it so hard to have a gun you got to be a computer genius plus find a doctor to start in the 70tys it was normally when I got mine no house inspection no need for that it's not a ar just a shotgun I'm glad I don't have to deal with it anymore or the curupt mot
See because of huge overreach the shooting numbers are down compared with the 70tys less customers for you

Very little variety to choose from. Semi auto and pump guns mostly excluded by law, as well as handguns. The British have a 100 year history of denying firearms to the populace, so I am not surprised.
