Worlds most unique gunmaker - COSMI factory tour

Спорт

We see how these beautiful semi-autos are made and then take them to the mountains to see how they work!
This video was kept AD free by our wonderful members! Join today for the behind the scenes video from the factory:
/ @tgsoutdoors
The Cosmi shotgun concept has gotten under my skin since I saw one in 2019, tried one in 2021 and owned one in 2022 - finally I got over to Ancona to see how they were built!
We got to see the full process including the 400 man hours of polishing and hand fitting, and got to test a fully titanium 20ga, a steel .410 semi auto and a 45-70 Rigato!
Enjoy

Criticizing something you've never held or even seen is a fool's errand but wow, I just don't get it with these $25,000+ autoloading shotguns. Other than their uniqueness, they appear to me to be a super elegant solution to a non-problem. Having said this, I'm glad they're being made and wish them many more years of success!

What’s important to remember is that there is a certain percentage of that population that can purchase a Cosmi as easily as we could buy an old Remington 1100. Heck I’ve met folks that have spent that on a weekend hotel. Heck a new truck costs 3x that now and will only last 15yrs or so and depreciates that much in a couple of years. Personally I’d rather have an old beat up pickup and a Cosmi! 😉😁👍🏼

These factory tour videos are not KZread videos. They are short, custom, tailored documentaries that happen to be on KZread. I have worked on a few different channels and never made something this cohesive. The edit, the grade, the audio (there are small cuts but barely noticeable), the whole flow is seriously good.

Just brilliant! Shooting in those Italian hills is much like where we shoot Californian quail and chukor in New Zealand's South Island. I came across a Cosmi years ago at a gun auction in Invercargill. It was a brilliant piece of work.

In my opinion this shotgun could be modified with a poly choke system for different shooting needs from birdshot to buckshot and even slugs can be fired through the same choke simply by twisting to adjust for desired shot ! Also a rifle version would be nice utilizing a 30-30 Winchester or 45-70 ,some of the handgun ammo like the 327 federal magnum might offer prolonged shooting .this gun should be able to accommodate anything that a lever action could with a few modifications ! Perfection is key to an outstanding gun ! The Cosmi company is allowed to utilize this information if they wanted for trials on a newer prototype !🤔

Super weird and super expensive. How have they survived? Edit: and now I see how ridiculous the manufacturing is. There is no way they will last another 130 years.

"this is an amazing product" - fires an overly engineered paperweight missing the target by over a foot. What in the hell did I just watch.

An excellent factory tour video! However, what a terrible waste using Walnut like this on such a hideous looking gun, something of this class would be better suited to a plastic stock.
