100% someone who took Idol fame and didn't stop working on his craft. I wasn't a fan when he came first. But he won me over by proving himself as an Artist after his Idol deal ended. And moved toward his own music over selected songs

I'm an aussie and I am going to be honest.. I was not a fan of Guy way back when he won Australian Idol. But now.. well, I'm just another fan. The music he's been releasing over the last few years has been brilliant. Fantastic voice and an awesome talent. 🇦🇺❤️

Same with Matt Corby. But I was drinking at The Cove a year or 2 after he quit Idol. And he sung a version of Lover You Should've come over by Jeff Buckley that was better than he original. Me and my mates used to perform in our band there so we were kind of like "Whos this Idol reject" being 18 at the time and thinking I was cool. The moment he opened his mouth. I was in a trance. Dude had somehow in 2 years become the greatest voice I'd ever heard. Both of those lads earn my respect by writing their own music. And distancing themselves from he Toxic Idol Artist culture that seems to cannibalise real Aussie artists

Guy has a natural auto tune tone to his voice. Showing how perfect his tone is. Like I've had arguments over if he was singing live before. And the person genuinely wouldn't believe me he was only using a mic and no filter

Guy won Australian Idol a long time ago. He is a judge on the Voice and he writes his own songs now. Had the fortune to see him live and he is amazing!!

World class singer without a global career. How is that even possible? But I guess Australia is big enogh for him.

Guy is not a contestant in this clip. He is a judge on Voice Australia. He won a singing contest years ago and has been performing world wide since then.

He is fenomenal, the best of the best. Unfortunately Guy is not as well known as he deserves to be. Probably because he is Australian and not from the US. Guy's brother also sings and has a very good voice.❤❤❤

His acoustic version of Battle Scars is amazing! Well worth a watch.

Totally agree.

Guy is phenomenal. Criminally underrated in the music scene outside Australia. If you want a vocal coach you couldn't get a better choice. Could sing the phone book with ease.

Our wonderful Guy is fantastic. He writes all his own music and is also loved for being a beautiful human.

Guy sebastian is one of Australia's top singer/songwriters in fact he not only performed this o the voice he is one of the coaches on it & he wrote every one of these songs & made them all top singles. This performance was Guy performing a medley of some of his hits he was a judge on the show the Voice at the time not a contestant. He Australian Idol as a youngster years before. 😂🤣😂

He is a Judge on the voice, Winner of Australian Idol, worked with Lupe fiasco, Sam Fischer, Jordan Sparks, Rapper Eve. He writes and composed all his song. The last song Who’s that girl features Rapper Eve on it.

You do realise he’s not a contestant lol. Below - from Wikipedia- might fill you in:- Sebastian has released ten top ten albums, including three number ones. The first seven all gained either platinum or multi-platinum certification. He has also achieved twenty three top twenty singles, with fourteen of them, reaching the top ten, including six number ones. He is the only Australian male artist in Australian chart history to achieve six number one singles, and places third overall for all Australian acts. Ten of his singles have been certified multi-platinum, including the 13× platinum "Battle Scars". His debut single "Angels Brought Me Here" was the highest selling song in Australia in the decade 2000 to 2009.

Guy Sebastian “battle scars” live at the home front acoustic is awesome. Should also check out Stan Walker “ultra light beam” he’s phenomenal to and reminds me of Guy a bit

Welcome to the Legend that is Guy! A massively talented World Class singer and songwriter. Performing here as a headline on the Voice, where he is a regular Judge and Coach. It's been many years since he was the Winner of the original Aussie Voice. {Note: In Australia most regard people who use autotune as 'no talent hacks' who can't hold a note! } In other parts of the world it seems electronic enhancements are the norm. For my money - or rather; "no way I'm gonna pay!" - to go see someone who needs 150 takes in a studio to sound OK and can't stay in tune Live.

I want those two to do an album of duets.

Firstly he’s a judge on the voice performing a medley of his own songs. And I was also going to suggest Keeping score on like a version with Paces(dj) it’s epic. Guy one the first idol.

In this performance, Guy was actually a judge. But he did compete on the voice before this.

The other judges on this show are Australia's Keith Urban and Jessica Mauboy, along with British judge Rita Ora.

Originally from South Australia is the number one ticket holder for the best team in the afl the mighty Adelaide Crows

I loved this performance when I first saw it. These are Guy's songs, sung in medley and with a bit of a twist with the last one with the rap. Superb. He's actually a judge on The Voice. Wonderful voice and great song writer. Dance moves have really improved over time as well!!!
