In answer to your root beer question. It does not naturally contain alcohol. It's generally just a fizzy beverage. There have been a few hard rootbeer sodas made. I have never seen or tried it.

One thing to keep in mind is 99% of drinks from the US are designed to be cold when consumed. No ice needed just put them in the fridge over night. Root Beer has no alcohol in it. It is just an old fashion soda that at one point was made from the root of the *sassafras plant. *= correction Keep up the great work man.

Fuego is Spanish for fire. Root beer is a soft drink. Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it, and it's a root beer float. If you watch westerns and hear somebody order sarsaparilla, that's an earlier nonalcoholic form of root beer. The flavor comes from the sassafras tree.

I live in Sioux City! It was nice to see us represented with the root beer! Liquid Death was made to create cool cans - similar to energy drinks and alcohol cans - that just have water. They have created several flavored varieties now. I know a lot of people in bands that like having something that looks cool on stage but isn’t alcohol. It’s also nice to have water in a can and not a plastic bottle. One of their mottos is “death to plastic”. It’s a cool company.

Little bit about me Adam, I'm a tower climber in Northern Colorado here in the US. I was Infantry in the US Army for a short time and tower climbing is my passion now. Climbing hundreds of feet to set up fixed wireless radios to the rural parts of our state. Giant chunks of western US are still just mountains and woods. A few of our towers require Helicopter transport to get to or snow cat ATVs to climb the mountains. Love the views from my "office" 1000ft up. Cheers brother and glad to see you like some of the best snacks lol. Quick edit, just got my Cert last week to train other Tower climbers and am excited for where the career goes from here. Got my first class of about 16 coming up next month.

Keep in mind, the language was spoken regularly not long ago. My Great Grandfather could speak a good bit, and he was born in Pennsylvania in the late 1800s. I would assume Southern England could have that connection with France, albeit probably not to the same extent as the Irish or the American example you gave. Storytime for Adam: (I'm white, which will be important to know for this story) I was living in a remote village in West Africa. Think dirt road in the jungle. No water, no electricity, no plumbing, nothing. One day, I was greeting some villagers. One woman had her three year old son with her. I looked down and said hello. The kid instantly burst into tears and hid behind his mother. He was inconsolable. He said something in their local language which I hadn't learned yet. Everyone busted out laughing. The mom looked at me and said, "He thinks you're a ghost!" I was the first white person he had ever seen. No one could ever convince him I wasn't a ghost haunting the village.

Havasu Falls is 4 hours from Las Vegas, but there is a closer tour of the Grand Canyon that is only a 2 hour drive. The West Rim is the closest rim of the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas. This rim is approximately 125 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. *Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park. It is in California. This is 5 and a half hours from Las Vegas by car. In October, I recommend seeing our beautiful mountains and fall colors through a train ride. The trees turn a beautiful yellow, orange and red. Some scenic train excursions can be found with.... * Smoky Mountain Railway in Bryson City, North Carolina * Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in Blue Ridge, Georgia *Tennessee Valley Railroad scenic ride in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Not much different from the sport they play in the states. That's how i found your channel. Your reactions to watching people get smoked is hilarious. Yes sometimes you get hit like that. Yes it hurts. You're so pumped full of adrenalin that you get back up and realize the next morning how bad that hit actually was. Joined the army reserves at 16 to see if i liked that lifestyle and profession. Ended up changing my mind after 2 years of service. Graduated high school, took a couple years off to work full time and figure out what i wanted out of life. Decided i like working outside with my hands. That led me to a powerline(Electric overhead power) school in southern Ontario. I believe this was the best decision I've ever made. The first week we climbed the 50ft poles i fell in love with it. Currently on break until year 2 in September. Finally if you were to visit north America, there are thousands of beautiful places in the USA, however in Canada I'd recommend you visit either Alberta or British Columbia. Both provinces are near the Rocky Mountains and the most beautiful sites Canada has to offer. All the best, Root beer never has alcohol:)

Hello from AL! First that kool-aid at the end didn't look like it was mixed in enough water. I could be wrong since i haven't had it since i was a kid but if you dumped that whole packet into one glass its not going to be good at all. haha. 2 quarts of water is like 1/2 gallon for that one packet to be mixed into. Maybe it was mixed right since it was off camera but i figured id mention it since I hadnt seen other comments say anything yet. Anywho love the vid! Interesting story, I remember years ago we had bad tornados coming though. We were in my Aunts basement. I remember her asking my mom what the noise was she was hearing in the distance. My mom looked at her and said, "Donna thats the tornado." Scariest thing i had ever heard at the time. It was pretty far away and we could still here it. Luckily it wasn't heading straight for us but even so. Hearing that train like sound rumbling was crazy.

U have a question about fire fighting. I have just retired and am trying to get some action going. My Granddather passed away while I was out of the states and never went back to the forest. He showed me whatever I know about the forest. He and his brother lived, worked and lived the outdoor of the Rookies in the area between the start of the Snake and the Mississippi Rivers. What I need is a lead on firefighting volunteers. I m sure that I would not qualify as a firefighter being retired but I have a lot of experience in the food service industry. How would a person get involved in feeding the firefighters. I feel I would have a lot to bring but have no contact to bring it to.

It does not mix well with alcohol (except I have heard of Root Beer Schnapps). It also goes by the names of Sassafras and Sarsaparilla (It comes from the Sassafras tree). If you watch some movies about the Old West, you may hear those names for it. I got to the end of the video to see you drink the Kool-Aid. Oh, and most of the sodas here are super sweet. There's only 3 sodas in this entire country that I will drink without any issues. Canada Dry which is an actual ginger ale because it has real ginger in it. If that isn't available, Scheppes. Squirt it's a Grapefruit soda. Fresca Also a grapefruit soda. Also....Dark dyed sodas like Pepsi, coke, etc. The brown dye used does help in causing long term permanent kidney issues. There's one other soda that I absolutely love and would drink it all the time. Clear Pepsi. It came out originally when I was 14. They bring it back every now and then. If I can snag my hands on an extra bottle (that I'm willing to part with. Yes, it's that good). I'll try and send it. Also, the twinkies....There are about 10 different flavors. There's fudge covered, etc. And yes, there is ceral that tastes like twinkies, dunkin donuts, etc, etc.

Left for the US Marines in 2005, 7 days after graduating high school. I was infantry for 13 years before being medically discharged for falling down a mountain. I have combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. I have 2 sons, both born while I was a Marine. Currently one is 17 and the other is 13. Last year, almost to the date, my 13yo was in a motorcycle accident and almost died. He was in the hospital for damn near a month and was in a forced coma for a little over a week. Shortly after that my wife was diagnosed with cancer so I haven't been working. I'm 100% disabled so the VA pay takes away a lot of stress from bills. Currently I just take care of my wife and go to the gym whenever avaliable, still 4x a week minimum. When the cancer thing 8s over, I have work lined up for me as law enforcement but it's strictly on military bases. When I was a kid I always wanted to be military or law enforcement. I'd do normal law enforcement but I have severe PTSD and I'm more comfortable on base than anywhere public. That's the about me I guess. Nobody fancy.

I’ve also visited the UK in the 90s for a criminal justice class. One of the unique jobs I had was working in a “fire kitchen” basically setting up a portable kitchen to serve wild land fire fighters and camping out on the lawn. I’ve done jobs like digging trenches to lay sprinkler lines and quality control for circuit boards. Those boys are the highlight of my day, aside from when I get the notification that you’ve posted a new video!! I’ve traveled the US coast to coast, east to west and north to south. The only part of the country that I haven’t visited is the southwest. If I had to choose a state to live in, based on what I’ve seen so far, I’d choose any of the New England states, Wisconsin, or Washington state. Thank you for sharing a little about yourself. I applaud you for following your dream instead of “settling”. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is: live your life, enjoy the ride, and recognize that today and tomorrow are gifts. PS - you’re welcome for the Mac & Cheese, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I forgot to include a note that you should use the Fluff to make a Fluffernutter sandwich: white bread with Fluff spread on one and peanut butter on the other slice. I have worked so many different jobs, waitress, bartender, retail manager, I currently work as a postal worker and so far it's been the best fit for me. I have two children, have been happily married for 4 years this October. I live in rural Arkansas, so you may call me "redneck". Let me tell you, rural southern areas like me are seriously a completely different world from big cities. It's a quiet life, we have chickens and goats, we grow a huge garden. Quiet life.

Where do I think you should go in America? NYC and Upstate New York. You can take Amtrak from the city to Niagra Falls and really get a sense for the different speeds of life in the Northeast. I'd recommend going in the fall, right around when the leaves change and the countryside is blanketed with orange, yellow, and red. Just to the East of Albany, NY there's a place called The Berkshires which is known for it's leaf peeping, and has Mt Greylock for all your mountain-viewing needs. You can get there on Amtrak too by connecting in Albany. Enjoy your time in the U.S.!

Hello Adam, from West Virginia USA. My state is known for its mystery. The Appalachian (App-uh-latch-in) mountains are 1 of the oldest mountain ranges on Earth being around 500 million years old & WV is entirely encompassed in them. We got a lot of spooky shit here. My town is home to the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum which closed in the early 90s. On top of being 1 of the most haunted places in America it's also the 2nd largest hand-cut stone buildings in the world (The Kremlin being 1st.) We also got a lot of cryptids the most famous being the Mothman, the Flatwoods Phantom & the Grafton horror. One of my favorite things to do is sit on my porch at night listening to peepers (frogs) & drinking beer. That being said, there are woods behind my home. 1 of the rules around here are "If you hear a voice coming from the woods, no you didn't." That usually means it's time to go inside. Sometimes you also see ghost lights, floating balls of light in the woods. MYth is those are the lanterns & flashlights of people who went into the woods at night & never came back. I have stories from the asylum from my mom who worked there & the spooky shit I've seen on Loveberry Ridge (Which is more even haunted IMO.) Hit me up if you want to hear some sometime.

I love rootbeer so much. It used to forever ago be called sarsaparilla (sounds more like sas-pa-rilla) which is the name of the root where the flavor comes from. It's just a soda but now they do make alcohol versions. Best with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. Side note...an orange soda with ice cream or a grape soda with some (a purple cow) is also amazing. I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It's southwest corner of the mitten, right about half way between Detroit in Chicago. My fiancé is English and I could not believe how many snacks tasted like nothing haha but I definitely felt better eating there than I do in the US. He really loved Funyuns (onion flavored crisp). Also, recipes to look up and try that he has loved but have very easy ingredients were sloppy Joe's and then meatloaf with mashed potatoes

Root beer is an interesting drink. It originated as a medicinal drink called Sarsaparilla that was served warm and called a "root tea" despite versions having soda added to them by the 1850s. It wasn't until a guy called Charles Elmer Hires put together his own recipe in the 1870s and found the "Root Tea" name didn't sell to the local miners that he changed the name to root beer and changed American history. It often contained alcohol but could be easily served without which was a great benefit when the Prohibition Era began and alcohol was made illegal. And while people made tons of illegal alcohol to quench their thirsts, breweries were left with no choice but to pivot to soft drinks like soda jerks in pharmacies made. Root beer could sell freely while calling itself beer, because it wasn't. This period is the reason why soda became a facet of American life and why we may never kick the soda habit.

8:18 Your story about the scooter reminded me of my younger days. I am 42 now but through my teenage and young adult life I did a lot of BMX and Skateboarding. As a teenager though, add being a little stunt man to that list! Where we lived the neighborhood was a slope, a steep one. One of the roads was a steep hill that had a dead end at the end of the road - literally end of the road. There was this soft sand, a wooden fence and a wide open green field behind it. I use to ride my bike down that hill as fast as I could! Half way down I would stand up on the bike with one foot on the seat, the other on the center bar, slam right into the dead end for no other purpose than to launch myself forward over the sand, over the wooden fence and land tumbling into the field! A very slow walk back up a steep hill only to do it all over again.

We spent a lot of time as kids, roaming around and building forts in stacks of wooden fruit boxes at the fruit packing house, and riding wooden boxes along lines of waist high track with wheels, mostly with no major injuries. Lots of agate hunting, tree climbing and days at the local swimming pool. Great summers...

The intro got me. Most root beer is non-alcoholic, but you can get hard versions. Liquid Death is hilarious, because the company that started it was like "Why not put it in a can instead of a bottle?" so that's what they did. They put plain water in a can. Of course there's flavors now. It's called "Liquid Death" to get younger people to drink it instead of energy drinks. Twinkies, I miss them from the 90's. When they discontinued them and then brought them back, it was a different recipe. Or at least they just don't taste the same. You gotta get Little Debby Swiss Rolls man. The chocolate rolls with the cream. Oh hell yes. Totally did NOT grow up on them. Nope, not me. When you said Fuego I was just like, "You know that means "fire" right?" and I was also like "Adam bout to find out the hard way." I knew the Sour Patch Kids weren't gonna be too bad. because I LOVE THEM! Especially the Watermelon bag. I dissolve them in water and just drink the flavor, then chew on the clear gummies for forever. But Warheads, yeah I remember them from my childhood and they used to be nuclear. Pepperidge Farm Milano are the best kind. Oh I miss Nerds, they were good. What do I do? Eh, I'm a paranormal investigator... ... ... and I know how you feel about em from your earlier "scariest videos" that you used to do. LOL.

Admittedly, I've come across this video very close to the NHL offseason, when the Oilers are on the verge of one of the most incredible postseason comebacks in the history of the modern game en route to the Stanley Cup. When I'm not watching KZreadrs like yourself react to hockey, often for the first time, I'm watching your reaction videos and similar on other things like weather and climate and other things that might tickle my fancy so to speak. I am a freelance web developer from the San Francisco Bay Area (northern California) who is still looking for work because the job market over here is stupid competitive. I love hockey and growing the game to people such as yourself. I also love music and have started writing and producing music in recent years. The only negative are the creative dry spells that come with that hobby, but I do love music, specifically pop. I know it's not everyone's jam, but... hey. A few things: Cheetos are amazing. IMO, they're on par with Lay's sour cream & onion, and I hope someone sends you that, too, some day. Root beer is a non-alcoholic beverage. It's soda. Don't ask me why it's called "root beer" if it's a soda. I don't know. 😅 Get used to calling Goldfish crackers. I don't know what they're called over there, but it's... get used to it lol. Really enjoying your videos on here so far and, as always, I enjoy your hockey videos on the main channel. Keep it up!

Firstly, root beer is not an alcoholic beverage here in the US. It used to contain alcohol when it was first made and distributed, but it doesn't anymore. Now root beer is just soda. Secondly, the US has so many different products, varieties of products, and flavors that it would be impossible to fit them all into one box, but I would say that the person who sent you this box did a good job of picking snacks for you to try. Thirdly, I used to have a job where I traveled a lot, and I have been to London and Manchester in England. I didn't have the chance to go to Ireland, but I would definitely love to someday.
