The gibberish the Tiger helmet dude was saying were the play calls. He's basically telling the other players what they have to do for the next play, based on what the coach tells him to say.

He is correct. Also, Certain words for a run play can mean left or right Lingo can mean Left, rhino can mean right etc. Each word in the sentence is telling a certain position player what to do

Yeah it sounds like complete gibberish when all put together but each of the of words is code for every positions role for every play it all means something but sounds like absolutely nothing

"You're overpaid" is definitely an insult. IOW, "You ain't playin' for crap, why are they paying you that much, you're totally not worth it!"

The mics are in the helmets and Joe Burrow the quarterback for the Bengals is saying the plays he is being told from the coaches its a secret code that they talk about during the preseason or during practice leading up to the game.

Kids these days are SO chill and well behaved. If you want actual trash talk go back to mic'd up from the 20teens. Just pick one, can't go wrong. 😂😂

0:26 the Mics are usually either in the pads, or next to the Radio in the helmet for thise who have the radio (shiwn by the green sticker on the back of the helmet.)

All mics are on/inside the shoulder pads. No microphones are allowed inside of the helmets. Those with radios or without.

The gibbersh is how they call plays. So certain words tell different players what they have to do on that play

You should check out some of the NFL Bad Lip Reading videos. It's basically mic'd up but they dub in voices rather than use the player's voice. They're very funny.

Honestly some of the funniest NFL videos are the NFL lip syncing videos 😅 absolutely hilarious

I love the Dolphins coach. He is like Wile E Coyote, super genius. Though the best sport question and answer was Indiania's former basketball coach Bob Knight when he was asked "how are you all going to win" and his answer, "we are going to score more points than them." It was great.

The players aren't actually wearing mic's. There's a guy (previously Steve Sabol and his dad) that walks along the sidelines, holding a dish antenna. He's catching and recording certain sections of the field. After the game, he goes through all the footage and separates all of the voices that he captured. Then he takes the video footage, and places the specific voices where they came from.

When his son got old enough, he started working for his dad, his name was Steve Sabol. NFL Films has has exclusive rights to to NFL game communications and replay rights. They were the first to come up with the technology that I explained in my original comment. Look them up on KZread, it sounds like you can learn something.

While there are people who do use the dish mics to record on field sounds, that’s not at all what is happening with the “mic’d up” players. The players and coaches are wearing wireless mics that are generally placed in the helmet or pads.

That’s not gibberish, that’s a play call. Now you need to watch a video explaining NFL play names

Next do defensive players micd up

the “gibberish” are play calls that only the team u play for knows, it’s a way to tell them a play without giving away the play to other team.

The NFL does have certain limitations on what the players can and cannot wear but I don't think they care much about Jewlery and a lot of the times players have them tucked into their jersey's during the game and only ever really see it if the player scores a touchdown or makes a big play as part of their celebration. Jones typically does it a lot in the league as of today and that I know of fully but years back lots of players would wear jewlery on the feild while in play. Most people remember that Crabtree and Talib chaninsnatching incident
