I'm usually all like, "Are you guys not seeing how brilliant this is!?!" as they watch it without comment. I personally think it's one of the coolest music videos I've seen in a long time.

Two things happened after Deftones released their self titled album - Steph promised to add more strings to his guitar with each new album till he could overtake harps and Deftones moved to Witch House Dream Pop.

Deftones! How I needed this. Cheers from across the pond.

The Deftones will always be one of my favorites, my hometown boys! I remember when they were playing with KoRn back in '92 - '93.

I stumbled onto your channel because I’m a lifelong Deftones fan and was watching their reactions and found you. Please do more Deftones. I love how much you love them. They represent most of my youth. Nothing but love, respect and loyalty for this band. Side note, you are an absolute doll!! 😍 ridiculously entertaining reaction!

@@yazma2 Wow! That's really surprising! I've been listening for many years now.. started listening back when I was 14 or so in 2002. At least that's when I first got heavy into Nine Inch Nails. Years before I heard Head Like A Hole and dug on it but I didn't get absorbed by the music. I've got a movie recommendation if you're up for it. It's called Man on Fire, it has Denzel Washington playing the main character. Before you watch it, know that it has some very upsetting themes but I feel that it's a quality movie. Be prepared for violence. :P I'm really very surprised that you just properly discovered Nine Inch Nails, though! How did it happen? Watching a show/movie, heard a song and went and searched for it online? Either way, awesome!! :) xD Now I'm listening to Tool.. today's going to be an Industrial themed day for me with what I'm listening to. haha

Their most iconic videos have amazing live footage of them playing as a group. Be Quiet and Drive, Rocket Skates, Minerva, Beauty School, the list goes on. High energy, all the time

Allegaeon “Gray Matter Mechanics “ is super smooth with transitions from acoustic to electric energy. Killer combo solo also.

It's called a Vertigo zoom and you're 100% correct in how it works. Alfred Hitchcock came up with it for his film Vertigo hence the name

@ 3:09 - I don't do cinematography (only photography), but you're definitely right. I believe it's called a "dolly zoom." This basically means the rate of change from the subject distance is proportional to the change in focal length. This gives the perception of the subject being unchanged while the field of view increases, hence you can see more and more around the subject between 2:56 - 2:58. It's a decent art piece. This definitely reflects a professional production team at work. I've listened to Deftones since White Pony, this song sounds nostalgic in every aspect.

Deftones my heart!

First ever gig, that wasn't local bands, Deftones at the QMU in Glasgow with Will Haven supporting. Amazing show. Seen them several times since and they are one of the best live bands around. R.I.P Chi. As for requests, maybe check out some Puscifer or one of Mike Pattons projects like Peeping Tom, Tomahawk or Mr.Bungle's California album (not the old live vids though, bad quality). Course, if you wanna jump in the deep end his collab with Dillinger Escape Plan is fantastic and manages to pull of an Aphex Twin cover. Luck with the reactions, hope Deftones makes it onto a constant rotation on your playlist, can't go wrong.

@@yazma2 i get that, when i heard team sleep it was on the 80gb I pod. I really enjoyed the atmopheric soundscape it had and i was soo hooked. I didn't enen know who the singers were. Wasn't until i started listening to music on Pandora i finally heard change (but not from white pony, but queen of the damned. Cause i was on a david draimin station😆) then i looked them up and white pony and diamond eyes were my first albums i listened to. Basically its okay if we/you or anyone didn't find chino's main band first. Where ever we start you'll/we'll probably enjoy anything he produces.

Deftones is amazing. Been a favorite band of mine for years.

Can i ask u a question in the u.s the country has different accents according to the region i.e the south sounds so different from the north east and west and so on...but england is a smaller country are their distinct accents say from london to Manchester to Liverpool....im just really curious. Yeah all our accents are completely different! Drive two hours from London and everyone speaks different!

So the effect with the camera you were referencing can be better viewed in their Minerva video. Very Pink Floyd inspired, and something I'm pretty sure you'll love! Cheers!
