I love the purity, clarity, and simplicity of her voice. There's no "forcing" it, as some singers feel is necessary. The classic song she chose is pure and inspirational. I, being 74 years old, saw it as being reminiscent of the female vocalists of the 1960s, like Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark. Very, very beautiful! Well done, Alison! :)

She really should have gotten the golden buzzer!!! She gave me goosebumps all over man!!! The tears just flowed and it was one of my favourite songs too

My mother used to sing this to me as a small child. I have heard her voice and these words in my mind for over 63 years. This song captured all of it. What an incredible Voice.

That was one of the best renditions of that song I ever heard...incredible vocal range and long may you keep singing.

Had the privelege of meeting Alison in Newcastle a few years ago, I was working as a drag act and she did a PA at my place of work. Incredible, and a lovely person.

She brought tears to my eyes. Fantastic. Thank you for making my morning in lockdown !!!!!

to be a great singer you must be able to move souls and gives people Goosebumps and she has done both she is by far in my top 10

This is the best rendition I have heard so far. I heard it many times from Jerry Lewis when he did his telethon and made us all cry at the end. But she gave me goosebumps all the way through. What a superbe voice ! ❤️❤️❤️

Sissel... her version is a bit quicker. But she sings before an audience that keeps their applause to themselves until the end. Sissel also has more range. I found the interference with the audience annoying.

Definably one of BGT's best artists of the year, But the audience had no clue, it wasnt hiphop.

Absolutely a well versatile singer. There are so many songs that come to mind that fit her style and voice. Everyone sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for a mistake but she NAILED it!

After so many years, I still find myself coming back here to listen to her sing. She is such an amazing singer, and what a song!

I love this particular assemblage of judges. Each of them are so compassionate and warm. They often cry and from the bottom of their hearts, they seem to be pulling for every candidate. Thank you Jesus for helping the contestants to get to this point.

The sheer size and yet matchlessly controlled *Popera* (if you will) voice should have earned you a solo career years ago, right? Aside from a great voice Alison is incredibly likable. Thirty years as a journeyman, all of which she should have been a star.
