I had forgotten she had done this. Just gorgeous. I’ve been reading her book and was reminded of it. Beautiful and inspirational song and performance!

Simply grand and majestic! Although many other great vocalists of the 2010s and 2020s (younger and stronger) may be able to sing higher than she, no one (to date) can ever have come close to her in terms of reaching out to the audience with pure magic from the heart. What an all-around talent! Until May 2023, I haven't found another Barbra Streisand yet.

I lived in New York City during Sept.11 and it meant so much to hear this beautiful lady sing this for all of us. I still listen to this very often and it still has the same impact on me. God bless you all

As Barry Gibb once said, there are the ten best female singers in the world and then there is Barbra Streisand. I think that sums it up nicely.

She is pure magic. She uplifts your spirit with her beautiful singing.

Barbra is one of the very best artists who ever walked this earth. Keep on!

For a lady who's never had a vocal lesson she's one of the greatest voices EVER!!love you barbra 💙🇬🇧

I think I was seven or eight the first time I saw her sing on tv and I felt like I was witnessing a miracle. Al Jarreau and Whitney Houston are the only others to repeat that feeling for me. Miraculous talents, all three.

It is still hard to fathom what happened...even after all these years. Her singing gave some hope to our badly bruised nation. She reminded us of our ability to embrace the unity and strength as a nation.

Of all the fantastic performances done by Barbra, this remains my favorite.

How beautiful!!! She has given all of us more than she has ever taken with a profound gift and talent that soars above this earth. Thanks Ms. Streisand!

There are so many wonderful female singers out there but none can compare to Barbara, the greatest ever and also a wonderful actress. You are by far the greatest voice ever.

Yes, a priceless moment but not so sure she is a great American paying the Clinton Foundation one million dollars to sleep one night in our White House.

I felt God the Father and the Messiah holding me in their arms, what emotion, i love you Barbra, thank you God for her God given gift of her voice.

I get chills everytime when she sings "... with hope, hope in your heart" at the 3:23 mark.

her voice is a perfectly tuned instrument. God, she is good.

She is truly one-of-a-kind and sends chills through me!

Lovely One of the most iconic things about her perforamance is that it was right after911 happened and all the celebrities were staying home in fear. At that time nobody knew exactly what was happening and they were all afraid it wasn’t over All the big parties were cancelled, award programs and concerts until this night that Barbra appeared at the Emmys and performed. I’m sure all the celebrities who had turned themselves into prison to hermits felt pretty silly when they saw her on the stage singing so beautifully. In any case after it was all over, Holleywood went back to normal

There will never be anyone like Streisand.....
