It’s possible that the recording only had the background “lyrics”. You know the ones that just have one or two words being sung in the background on repeat and not the actual lyrics to the song.

At LEAST The Singing Souls weren't cheaters like that "Chorus" were or using some godforsaken autotune device . Every Vocal Artist known has started off a bit rough or had a Performance go completely haywire and I bet Ol' Simon Boy will be eating his Hat when The Singing Souls hit Gold then Platinum .

Mike Batty it’s normal to have backing vocals to back the piece up making it sound fuller. This doesn’t mean they’re lip syncing. Most shows with groups are pre recorded especially because of how big this theatre is, it helps with the projection. Doesn’t mean they’re any less talented than they were.

I've never heard of a choir using backing vocals, especially in competitions, and this is a huge talent show which claims to showcase the top talent in the country.

The first one I don't see nothing wrong with it Calum Scott sings beautifully and that is with these are not big mistakes just minor ones....

The first one missed part and murmured sometimes while the high notes were way louder. Even the high parts were not sang perfectly, though the sound of the loud part was really good.

Okay, math problem on the second act: 27,204,141 (the number on the phone after he hits equals) does not produce a 4 digit whole number when divided by 7*7676. It's simple algebra. (7)(7676)(x)=27,204,141 53,732x=27,204,141 x=27,204,141/53,732 x=506.2931 Not only does it not equal 4 digits, it's not even a whole number (both of which is required for a 4-digit mobile pin code) which means that the number they generated was not a multiplication of 7*7676. Now I'm not sure what they did to get the number that they did produce (that's art of the magic) but certainly something got messed up during that process. P.S. I've double and triple checked my work and rewatched the act over and over again to make sure I got the write numbers correct but please feel free to check my work for yourself.

You missed a number amanda typed in the 4 digit pin code for her phone. Those 3 numbers produced the other number. We don't know what type of calculator that was it may hgave had decimal places set so one it was treated as a decimal number also it may have been rounded

I must say, the energy that "the singing souls" brought onto the stage was intense.....I almost wanted to jump off my couch and jam out with them.....lol

HERE'S WHAT WENT "HORRIBLY WRONG": 1st: stumbles on the lyrics 2nd: writes the wrong number 3rd: misses his shot without putting a single person in danger / crossbows fire incorrectly which kinda puts him in danger 4th: kinda hurts himself with a plate / left an open flame on stage / probably gave the janitors a hard time 5th: technical difficulties 6th: the dog doesn't do what the dog was supposed to do during the performance(?) / audition turns into group "doga" and a dog pisses on the stage and another pisses on David's shoes 7th: the classic "Singing Souls" audition, where one of the girls act very angry and lash out at Simon while the others awkwardly stand next to her.

I love Calum Scott! His voice is amazing!

~actually happened~

I really enjoyed watching that 30 minute video of minor hiccups that didnt take away from any of the performances at all, but persuaded the judges to give them a yes even more

the third one was so adorable and I love how the judges were also enjoying

Callums performance didn't go horrible wrong. Even though he messed up, he recovered and everyone still loved it. DNA didn't really mess up horribly either he just wrote the wrong number by accident and also the 3rd one didn't go horribly wrong as he didn't get shot and the 4th one didn't go horribly wrong AGAIN!! And guess what the 5th one didn't go horribly also. Again guess what 6 didn't go horribly wrong as it was a joke. The only one that did go horribly wrong was the last one

I don't think he forgot, it sounded like he let emotion take over for a second. If you watched his audition, he explains there how emotionally attached to singing he is. But I agree, it's still not horribly wrong and this is massive click bait

Calum may not be the winner because things didn't go his way but he's so amazing! Calum's now on the top list of rising stars this year! He's now doing shows and concerts everywhere. The icing on the cake is his humble personality. I watched him twice (Philippines and US) and he's truly kind.

I love kids but when that group of quire kids started to sing there facial expressions were really cringeful when they were singing, they were trying too hard in my opinion.

cuz they were lip-syncing and had been told to make it look "real", so they were over-acting. i didn't hear anything even slightly remarkable from those kids. compare to boys choirs from around the world. there wasn't a mature singing voice from any of them. they made me think of Charlie Brown holiday special kids' singing. it was cute, but that was about it.

How 2 Draw it’s normal to have backing vocals to back the piece up making it sound fuller. This doesn’t mean they’re lip syncing. Most shows with groups are pre recorded especially because of how big this theatre is, it helps with the projection. Doesn’t mean they’re any less talented than they were.

Dear people talking about the “cheating children” They are not lip-syncing, in singing you have a recorded audio. You sing along with it. It makes it sound better and it’s not cheating, all singing acts have it.

but how did literally none of the kids in the frame move their lips?? it was at least 3 rows of kids and none of them moved. There was no music going and these kids aren't doing 8 counts in their heads for when to start.

So to find Amanda's number is simple.. 27,204,141 ÷ 53,732 = 506.293102 which is NOT a whole number.
