that is why he is called a mentalist. Although, even with training, someone would also have to be trained as a mentalist to pull it off, not just trained in the stunt alone. I do not think it is as easy as you may think as he has been training for 15 years to master the art... not just one simple year. Read his biography.

He is a perfect illusionist. Check out Aaron's left hand index finger sneaking in and pulling down the blindfold towards the end of 3:03. The foil wrapped around his head is actually a see through material. He had his eyes open throughout the act. The smartass left both the audience and judges gasping for nothing. LOL!

essentially, however positioning the people seemingly effortlessly, and making himself unable to see is the interesting part. That, and if you stumble you're screwed essentially. And not only remembering the height but being able to then cut and slice and hit all at that height is the hard part.

Shaam Pow Did you forget that the guy squealed? That was all he needed to know exactly where the pineapple was. Blind people can tell how tall a person is by where their voice comes from. This is no trick at all. You could have a sincerely blind person up there and they can do the same thing. That's how they manage to get around in their lives. The fact that he can see is the illusion that makes it seem impossible. It's not impossible and this isn't amazing at all.
