Right from the start, when Adolf Hitler and the German army marched into Poland in 1939 and refused to leave, there was a determination in the hearts of the people of Britain, ready to defend their lives and their country.

Duh! Of course they do, the conquered have conquered and enemies defeated, not uplifted. You want to set the narrative? Be prepared to do what countries like Britain have done, win wars requiring vast amounts of deaths and resources . And don't start all this bleeding heart humans should live in peace...humans will forever war, have done will always do, until there is a common enemy or disaster that unites us all in a common goal then it will continue to be the case.

I heard a story that Chamberlain said " peace in our time" not that he believed it but to rally the british for when Hitler broke the peace.

Very valuable documentary, however sometimes the music is loud, unpleasant, and overwhelms the narrator voice. Please tune if down in future documentaries
Why are the bodies censored? No other documentary group does this. If you watch things of war you'll see bodies. If that's not your cup of tea there's alway episodes of the power puff girls

2024 KZread compliance.. it's not me, the producer OR Best Documentary. Personally, I feel I have failed as a story teller if you need to see suffering and burning bodies to actually understand the reality of war history. Liam Dale

Great Britain : World Peace = LoL
British dynasty is of german origin- Coburg Saxon and Goth. After the WWI they changed it to Windsor by a small village, to sound British. So what are we talking about???

Churchill destroyed Britain, lost the empire, and committed heinous war crimes. He was nothing but a drunkard puppet to those who paid off his debts. A traitor to the British people.
