Comedian Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live is married to actress Scarlett Johansson who has been nominated for Acadrmy Awards and Golden Globes awards. She has received a Tony and BAFTA award. Colin has a Bachelor's degree from Harvard majoring in Russian and British literature.

SNL is a treasured fixture in the US. Weekly lampooning of all the crap that this world hands out.

IMO. Going back to the first season, Weekend Update was always the best segment.

LOVELOVELOVE SNL, and Weekend Update is the BEST!!!

The jokes about controlling the weather and Space lasers is in reference to Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Green (sort of like Katie Hopkins without the charm and compassionate nature) claiming that the wildfires in California, a couple of years back, where caused by Jewish Space Lasers. SNL former cast member Cecily Strong does a wonderful impersonation of her. If you like seeing Colin Jost embarrassed, check out any of the Weekend Updates featuring Sarah Sherman (especially the CJ Rossitano one).

No, they don’t get called out. SNL has been around as long as I can remember. Some years are better than others. Most of the comedic greats got their start or became famous on SNL so we’re used to it

Norm MacDonald got called out by one of the heads of the network for almost 100% of the time jumping on OJ Simpson and how guilty he really was. The guy finally fired him from SNL. Unfair...it brought a lot of laughs.

When Jost and Che do their "switcheroo" jokes, it is all good crazy fun to make the other one say something offensive. I think they do these segments twice a year, once right before Christmas, and the other on the last episode of the season.

I enjoy the SNL joke exchanges because unlike some people in politics, they know it's a joke! Also, this one got me to subscribe.

Colin's jokes used to be tame. Che has hit hard from the start of this exchange. It's only in the last 2-3 seasons that Colon has gotten some hits in on Che. The Kendrick one rattled Che.

That Kendrick Lamar joke truly did scare Michael Che.

Nobody is actually taking the jokes at face value, the humor is in the fact that each of them are writing these blatantly offensive jokes in an effort to get the other one who reads it "cancelled." The more offensive the joke, the worse the repercussions for the person who reads it would be, so they go all-in on being horrible. Everyone's in on the gag, so it's understood that they don't really mean any of this.

I want to see More Cowbell! again...

I would recommend not watching with subtitles because it tends to give away the punchline.

Ive tried to like SNL but....im more a monty Python and Blackadder person.

That's a great bit. Those were good but there's much better years to watch. Just watch all of them. The Weekend Updates are really funny too. Actually it's the only funny thing left on SNL.

These two are the only funny ones left at SNL.

I think this was not a good one. The Scarlett Johansson jokes were ok.

This was actually the least funny of their news reports. The jokes were so so. Their other stuff is sooooo much better.

Dudes. I promise you... there's way better SNL than this. I don't even know who those two humans are. PLEASE treat yourselves to the original, earliest, SNL cast. The likes of: Gilda Radnor, Jim Carrey, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Eddie Murphy, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, etc. Huge, great talents.

The only funny weekend update on SNL was done by Norm Macdonald. Today's SNL (actually the last 20 years) is awful, nothing but woke garbage.
