Evangelion has nothing like that scene. It was probably inspired by Elfen Lied which has that exact kind of scene in the beginning.

I think it's meant to be cheesy CGI. Just makes it more funny. That's what they were going for. Their videos are generally high budget. I mean they got stifler's younger bro in this video and Forrest Whitaker in, In The dark. It's just for laughs. Even bk in the day with prey for plagues. That video was kinda cool to say they had zero budget

Its definitely a new song at the end. Theyve been dropping snippets for ot a few weeks now. Sounds good so far.
