Welcome back, hope to see you around with more BM songs. I think i remember watching you in a short or something, maybe this is a re-upload, but it's cool you got this up again. This was the best 2020 collab between these two great bands and we finally got this collab on the stage together after so much time waiting for it. BMTH performed at Southside Festival in Germany and Hellfest Festival, there's a nice proshot version but with only BabyMetal backing track vocals, luckily now we got this amazing clip showing them sharing the same stage at Makuhari Messe during a festival called "NEX_FEST" ending October and starting November last year, and they did it not only once but four times in a row, everyone went bonkers with these, you can also find fancams of each night showing some different interactions at the end between Oli and the girls, SuMetal thanked to BMTH in all of them, that's the only thing i can complain about this clip but it's cool anyway. BMTH couldn't have better collab on their latest album Post Human Survival Horror, there are some others really good songs there thou but this one is just on another level. My suggestions are: "Parasite Eve" and "Teardrops", also "Ludens" from Death Stranding OST videogame. This song was produced by Mick Gordon, the same behind videogames like Doom, Wolfenstein and Prey, so you can feel the vibes here. They're friends since 2015 when met each other at Kerrang Awards so the collab was almost naturally unavoidable. They even performed as a support band for BabyMetal and Oli praise the Fox God too (atheist, dame, zettai)🦊🤘 The drum&bass instrumental intro on this song is called "Itch For The Cure" which is clearly a tribute to Linkin Park song "Cure For The Itch", but the short animation and dialogue wasn't part of the album track, it's a reference to Metal Gear Solid videogame created by Hideo Kojima, they got another MGS tribute song called "Shadow Moses" and later in 2019 they were part of Death Stranding OST, another Hideo Kojima game. Also you can find a short documentary about the making of this song where Oli said interesting things about the method they worked with the BM team and giving multiple choice of doing this. Good (first) reaction. BMTH and BABYMETAL first met in the UK in 2015 and they have been good friends ever since - they often spoke of wanting to collaborate. You were right when you said BMTH are popular in Japan ... that is thanks at least in part to BABYMETAL's support. In 2019 BABYMETAL invited BMTH to tour with them in japan and they opened at 4 of their big arena concerts, it was after those shows that BMTH seemed to take off in Japan. This song was recorded in 2020. Originally BABYMETAL sent their contribution entirely in English. Oli Sykes from BMTH asked them to include some Japanese. It took 3 years before they could get together to perform the song live - this happened around the start of November 2023 at the NEX_FEST events that BMTH had arranged in Japan where this video was filmed. BABYMETAL had already played their own set and they came back out at all 4 events to join BMTH on stage for this song ... and I'm sure you could see how much fun they were having together. Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。They performed "REAL" Kingslayer (BMTH+BM on stage together) 4 times in Japan last year as a special rendition in the festival curated and hosted by BMTH. I witnessed the 2nd REAL one in Nagoya on Nov.1. That was mesmerizing 😍 and I forgot to breathe during the performance. In an interview Momometal made an interesting comment like : (1) The theme of this choreo is "collision of souls" that has an image like we throw the power multiplied by the two bands at the audience. (2) We danced with our fullest power and solid determination : "We do not care no matter what happens to us after the performance" I saw the girls literally do it. (BABYMETAL did this performance after their own strenuous one-hour show in the festival.)

Judas Priest were treated like absolute Gods in Japan. Fair to say Japan has been into Heavy Metal from the very beginning. Even Deep Purple who are considered Metal pioneers despite not typically being Metal had a good following in Japan.

Both bands are so good, this performance was amazing!

I’ve been a heavy metal head since the early 1980’s. Even back then, bands were always talking about how they LOVED to play in Japan, as they always had the best fans at the concerts. Nothing has changed. Japanese metal fans are hardcore, and Japan has produced many good bands in the last 20 years . Hmmm, I am a bit late to this party I see. All I can say is, as someone who is more into death metal and deathcore. I come from listening to bands like Lorna Shore, Brand of Sacrifice, Shadow of Intent, Slaughter to Prevail, etc; last year I came across Babymetal, and while the world was in an uproar around Bad Omens and Sleep Token, I got hooked onto Babymetal and they became my favourite band. With Sleep Token being my second. I really say all this to emphasis that they are not a fringe thing, but one of those bands that have the capacity to become anyone’s favourite irregardless of what form of music or genre they typically listen to. Also a lot of respect for BMTH. Not a favourite band of mine but Sempiternal, Post Human, and any of their newer stuff coming out are on my playlist. Oli Sykes has always behaved like a protective older brother to the girls in Babymetal sense they were still kids when they first blew up in world popularity.

There is a good possibility they will get to perform Kingslayer for the first time live in Vegas in about 11 days. Bring Me the Horizon will be performing at the Fontainebleau on Friday April 26. Along with the Sick New World Festival on Saturday the 27th. Babymetal will also be at the festival of which i will be attending as well. Tickets cost me a fortune but it will be well worth it. Ladies have so many iconic performances over the years its hard to puck just one. From Rondo of Nightmare Mischiefs of Metal Gods at Budokan Live. To Tales Of Destinies at the Tokyo Dome. To Metal Kingdom live which is like an epic Game Of Thrones gone performance theatre. Then you add all the crazy collaborations they have done. The latest just dropped a couple or so weeks ago with Leave it all behind. Which features Thai Rapper F. Hero and Thai Rock Band Bodyslam. Its probably their best collaboration to date and that is just the tip of the iceberg here. Welcome to the foxhole!! 🤘🦊💕

Dominating for 13 years now with brilliant lLIVE shows BM rarely produces any track that doesn't grab you even on a first listen. Complete professionals with just about everrything you can imagine thrown into their shows, and oozing talent across the board - from the performers to the choreographers, stage mangers, band, lighting, music and more these girls have been rocking since 10 and 12 yrs old (or close to it). Great reaction - and more (LIVE... but preferably not "official") please!
