Nothing I like better than hearing someone admit he's a blind driver--our darn DMV makes me wear "corrective lens".

I think people that violate handicap parking spaces should be temporarily crippled via nerve blocking pharmaceuticals, so they can experience what it's like.

If the Mafia was in charge they would ensure everyone who parked in those spots were truly handicapped.

I've been handicapped for over 20 years which it really piss me off when this happens.

lol, the Barney Miller theme in background For some context, I'm a rather large rugby player, construction worker, fan of X-Sports, can be intimidating. one Friday, go to bank at local Strip mall, plenty of parking, just a 50 ft walk, now this about 4:15, summer, i've been working on dirty house site all day in hot sun, unshaven, sun cooked, tired...as i get out my van, I see a 20 something shoot into the Handicap in his Porsche, by time got to sidewalk, he was already in Pharmacy next door. WELL, when coming out, we came out at same time and had to walk around each other, I looked at him "ARE YOU HANDICAPPED?" now this a small seaside town, every one is aware who's who...I told him, "well, next time, and I now know you, your license plate and your car.....IF I ever see in a handicapped spot, at the VERY MINIMUM, you're going to need a tow truck"

Find should be 1500 no excuses allowed! Photo evidence should be allowed!

Will he come back to park his car in the same spot? You bet!! He'll still be saying he didn't know that.

Two days ago I saw a cop pull into a handicapped spot and went into a store to do some shopping. When he came out about 20 minutes later I asked him why did he park there, he said to mind my own business and that he can park where he wants because he's a cop. The idiot had no idea I was recording him the whole time, I said since you're out in public and in full uniform I'm going to be sending this video to every news station in the city. The asshole had the nerve to tell me it's illegal to record him without his permission, I told him the law says I can record anybody outside in public because nobody has the expectation of privacy in open public. I sent a copy of the video and his threat to me to the Mayor's Office ... I'm still waiting for a reply, if I don't one by this coming Tuesday the news stations will be getting copies of the video.

@@davidparsons6989 Depends on what state. It is considered obstruction of view in most states but.....Supreme court in VA has ruled cops can not say for sure what is or isn't an obstruction of view for any given person/vehicle!

@@davidparsons6989 I think they were coming out of the the building to leave and she never put it on at all. It could have been a ticket and they would not get out of it, if the car was the males car and she is the one with the placard. If the cop was still there then the cop most likely will void it but not after the fact or they would have everyone taking a family member to court to get out of tickets for parking in a hanicap.

In part, this issue is because most city agencies do not do their job enforcing the laws protecting the disabled, no priority is assigned to correct or enforce the law. Large fines, towing, these actions can make money to pay for enforcement. If tickets were made payable when people get their car sticker, people would have no choice but to pay or no sticker, and another ticket and fine. It can be a real legitimate moneymaker for a city and protect the innocent ones..

I didn't see the huge handicap sign in the floor and right in front of my car.

You know sometimes there's elderly people that have a handicap sticker they come park at the store they get out and they walk their dog to go pee or poop they don't even shop in the store come back and get in the car and to me you could have parked somewhere else to walk your dog to pee and poop and I'm handicapped

I'm not legally handicapped. But I have COPD. and I usually park. Pretty far from store. (Walmart ) only spaces aviable. By the time I get in store I'm short winded. Have to stop and catch my breath. Or sit down.

Some people are just being inconsiderate of the handicapped people who really needs the space 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

That shit took 2 handicap spaces...the stripped zone is there to let in and out of side load vans etc. I have seen people have to sit out inthe sun in a wheelchair waited for some jerk to come out and let them be able to get into their vans and go home...or they freeze out in the cold. The fine should be $1000 if you ask me. That man lied...nobidy could miss all those signs...how dare he. I hope he got fired.

Where I'm from the police would say the spot is defient because the stripes are white (not contrasting). Lack of enforcement by ableist police is the problem.

There is no such as a poor handicapped person we like to use the term disabled.

I've illegally used a handicapped parking spot a few times. It was in an otherwise empty lot with a 2d spot not used. Therefore, I didn't prevent anything from happening.
