Hey James, love the content. You should take a look at the mail system. It's awesome. 1. Some Commercial buildings, once their demand is met, start producing unsorted mail. 2. You can bring the unsorted mail to the mail sorting facility (you have one just beside the train station at MacAllen) and it will produce the sorted mail. 3. Sorted mail goes to residentials. 4. Once the residential demand for sorted mail is met they start producing unsorted mail, which could be picked up and sorted. You have to set a literal postal system to work it all. The only bad side to all of this is that the pickup truck station doesn't work as a mail-box. You ought to have a cargo truck station near residentials to pick up mail.

You should be able to use the percentage slider in the "Load" menu to make the brick-delivery trucks wait for 50% load indefinitely. That'd be much better than 10 minutes for full load, or indefinitely for a full load.

You could probably transport some of the cardboard boxes (sorry I forget what they're called) from Jacksonville to McAllen. Not sure if it would be worth the stress but you could probably just add a couple more cars to the train traveling between the two towns and have those load up with the boxes, might even have enough room already with the limited brick production. Love the series btw!

  • @MikeBlythemblythe95

The reason the bricks aren't transporting enough is because the cities aren't demanding enough. Love your vids dude!

a tip for the signals. you say its the most tedious thing to do... that's because you place them everywhere. You dont need signals so close to each other. If there is 2 trains on a line, its ok to have only 2-3 pairs of signals on the track. you place around 10 on each track for places where you wont ever go above 2 trains.

Defo should have a plane (if it carries passengers) from the furthest east town to furthest west town (or North/south I don't know how the map is orientated). Personally, if all the train lines are separated are all the signals that necessary. I'd get it if all the train lines were on one set of double tracks but they aren't. Overall really enjoying the series keep up the good work.

He's way over signalling especially for the amount of line traffic he has he could get by with 3 sets of signals per section especially with how he has split the sides for right and left one as the leave the station one as the arrive and maybe one in the middle but honestly you should only be signalling junctions and crossovers
